Introduction - Pt. Whatever at This Point

"Oh? Stay here, I'll get him some water. Actually...Can you please show me where it is?"

"Sure. Follow me."

I led him to the kitchen.

Halfway there, a floorboard suddenly creaked, and Wind grabbed my hand. He wouldn't let go, either.

He was tightly squeezing my hand, almost breaking my fingers. ...Or so it felt.

I never would've thought a hero would be this scared of the dark.

Then, I felt him crash into my back, not being nearly heavy enough to knock me over, though.

"Wind?" I asked.

I heard sleepy snores on my back as his arms wrapped around my belly.

"Hey, wake up!"

I felt and heard him sigh as he leaned into me further.

"Wind, hey! Get up! You can't fall asleep on me like that!" I accidentally snapped loudly.

"What's goin' on?!" Tetra bursted out of the door with her gun pointed up, quickly swinging the barrel to me.

My arms shot up.

"Oh. It's just you." Tetra said, placing her gun back in its case, "I thought someone was 'boutta rob us. Don't yell like that, Link. Is 'at Wind?"

"It is."

"Huh. He's probably giving you such a hard time right now, isn't he?" Tetra asked.

"I mean, he's f-"

"'EY, YOU LAZY SAILOR!"

"Tetra! Everyone's sleeping!"

Wind jumped up off my back and fell backwards, hitting hard on the floor and coughing on impact.

"It gets you every time, Wind. You really need to sleep heavier." Tetra said, crossing her arms below her chest.

"W-Well of course it does! You screamed at me!" Wind exclaimed, and to his defense, exclaiming the truth.

"Oh, well. Whatever."

Wind squinted at Tetra angrily.

To my surprise, no one woke up.

At least, that's what I thought until Mask stumbled from the door to my room, rubbing his eyes and yawning, then stretching his hands into the air.

"Where's Spirit, ya' know? Haven't seen 'im since I heard a door slam. Sounds like he cracked the thing." Tetra asked.

"He must've felt nauseous. I woke up to the door slamming, too, and went to check it out. He had just thrown up. Is that normal for him?" I asked her.

"Oh, yeah... He 'bout does it every night. I'm just glad he didn't puke all over your house like he did my ship."

"SHIT!" I heard Spirit scream in the bathroom.
