Introduction - Pt. Whatever at This Point

Start from the beginning

I don't think he liked all the attention he got for his title all too much.

"I am." He said.

"Oh, really? I just wanted to ask so I knew who you were."

"You're not... Surprised...or anything?"

"No! Unless you want me to treat you as a king,"

"No, thank you."

"I just know a few people who hate all the attention they get, so I didn't want to bother you about it, especially because you seemed as if you didn't want it. ...After all, you're hiding your identity with that mask."

"I appreciate it. I like to be treated just like a normal person, like you, or another person in the villages."

Spirit smiled and nodded.

Mask sighed, but I saw a small smile on his nervous face. ...Well...the half of his face that was showing.

"No one's ever thought of it that way before..." Mask said aloud, "I'm grateful you think of it that way and that you quickly applied it to me. Thank you, truly!"

Spirit looked shocked. He didn't know what to do.

He basically just slowly formed a smile as he glanced around nervously and excitedly.

We all just watched.

Great. Now that Mask is Spirit's partner, I'm alone again.

Always have been, I don't care.

It caught my attention when Spirit jumped into a hug with Mask.

Mask was surprised at this, and slowly molded his arms around Spirit.

Mask looked comfortable, resting his head on Spirit's shoulder, his cheeks glowing a relaxed, pinkish-red color, rather than the pale white they were before.

"Alright, guys, that's enough!" Blue yelled from atop the wall.

Mask jumped at his yelling, and Spirit jumped into his arms, just like a cartoon.

"We still have to take care of this hoard of monsters, don't we?! Jump to the attack and not your boyfriend, Spirit!" Blue ordered.

Mask dropped Spirit, and without any whining, Spirit jolted to a straight upward position.

Both of their faces were red.

"Blue, get down here!" Vio yelled at him.

"I-I don't know how." Blue looked down.

He seemed to get dizzy, and then slowly drop to a sitting position.

"Are you afraid of heights?" Tetra giggled.

"Huh- Wh-What?! No! Of course not!"

"Then why'd you sit down after getting dizzy after looking off the wall?"

"Because...uh...Because I'm nauseous."

"Right, right, of course... Prove it."

"How?!"

"Puke. Right now. Do it."

"But I don't want-"

"Do it, Blue."

"No."

"Then you're afraid of heights."

"Tetra," Blue closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he spoke, "Before I decapitate you...Stop it."

Mask looked back at Blue to see what was going on with him.

"Oh my gods- I'M SO SORRY FOR YELLING IN YOUR PRESENCE, SIR, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!" Blue noticed who he was.
