He sat and played his ocarina towards the outside of the walls, still not revealing his face to the new members of our group.

"Is that him?" Red asked.

Mask turned his one eye to see who asked that, then jumped off the wall.

Towards us, of course.

He held out his hand to Red, who seemed shocked by what was happening.

I don't get what's so special about him. So what? He's the Hero of Time? I've never even heard of him before this.

Red took his hand very extremely gently, and Mask shook his arm firmly, while Red's just flopped along like a noodle.

"I-I-It's a p-pleasure t-t-t-to meet y-you, H-Hero!" Red smiled and nodded.

"Why does no one ever care about me?! I'm a hero, too!" Wind sounded like he was crying, but he wasn't.

"Because traveling through time is a lot cooler than controlling the wind." Green bluntly stated.

"W-Well... I don't just control the wind!" Wind told him.

"Then what else?"

"Cyclones, I can control peoples' minds, and I'm really good at cussing people out, too!"

Green gave him a heavy facepalm and turned his back.

"Hey! Don't be so mean to me, Green, come on!"

Spirit pushed himself off the floor and looked dizzy.

"What happened just now?" He asked, "Ooh. I'm hungry."

"Spirit!" Tetra exclaimed, picking him up and hugging him.

"Oh- Oh my gods-" Spirit grunted.

"Tetra, you're going to kill him." Wind said.

"Sorry. I was just too excited to see him!" Tetra exclaimed again, "Well? How's Jacky? How's Zelda? How's your career? How are you?"

"I'm fine! They're all fine!" Spirit told her, sounding overwhelmed.

"So..." Mask approached behind Spirit, "You're the new guy...aren't you?"

"Who's th-" Spirit turned around and jumped at the sight of a scary mask Mask had switched to.

Spirit screamed and stumbled back into Tetra.

Mask laughed.

He quickly swapped masks so no one saw his whole face, using the typical yellow and black fox-like mask he had before and only showing his left eye.

"You can't scare me like that! I about just pissed myself!" Spirit noticed what he had said and covered his mouth with his hands, "Sorry! I didn't mean to say that-!"

"It's okay." Mask said.

Spirit sighed as he stood back up, "That's good... I didn't want to offend you."

Mask stood there in silence.

"I-Uh... Er... I like your eyes- I MEAN YOUR MASK!" Spirit exclaimed, blushing with embarrassment.

Wind facepalmed.

"Thank you." Mask accepted the compliment.

Spirit took a deep breath in and let it out, pulling his hand from the front of his face downwards, then letting it fall to his side, "Though I do think your eyes are very pretty."

"I- Uh- Oh... Thank you!"

"Are you the Hero of Time?" Spirit checked him up and down.

Mask looked a little annoyed for a moment.
