When we looked back, Mask stood atop the wall with Blue under his arm, the moonlight illuminating his back, leaving all we could see his one blue eyes slight shimmering in the darkness.
He set Blue down, not taking care to be gentle, and I noticed an ocarina in his hand. In fact...I think it's the legendary Ocarina of Time he's holding.
He put it to his mouth and began to play a song.
As he played, the wound on Red's head healed, leaving no evidence behind.
I looked back to Tetra and Wind, and Wind—Who had healed—looked up at Mask with surprise.
Tetra woke up, all of the warm blood that had just fallen from her body flowing in reverse back upwards and into her veins.
Wind looked at everyone else's wounds and patted his chest to find his own, but it wasn't there.
Though, Mask continued to play.
It sounded beautiful.
"Oh, young Hero of Time. You may stop now, Sir. Everyone's healed." Vio said to him.
"No, don't stop! Can I hear a different song?" Wind yelled up to him.
I saw Mask's blue eye open back up.
He nodded and pulled the ocarina back up to his mouth.
He began to play yet another song I hadn't heard.
"A-Aryll..." Wind stuttered.
Vio and Green hummed along with the song.
"How do you three know that song?!" Tetra asked.
"It's simple. Didn't he ever tell you about us? We lived in his mind on his adventure. We watched over him ever so closely to make sure he wouldn't get hurt too badly." Vio told her, "We created his ancestor, Spirit. The one you met?"
"He's so sweet... I miss Spirit." Tetra said.
"I miss him, too..." Wind mumbled, his hands over his eyes, "Just as much as I miss Aryll."
"We could try and create him again, if you want." Vio told them.
"Really? You can do that?" Wind and Tetra asked.
"We can't create him again. But we can wait for him to come to us."
"How long do you think that'll be?!" Tetra asked him.
"Well...With the Great Revolution going on...It'd likely take only tomorrow, and anything after a week... That would be bad."
We heard a little boy shriek, and Vio looked back at the closed doors, "Speak of the devil, huh? He's here."
Mask turned his head to view the situation.
He jumped down and climbed back up with a squirming boy under his arm.
After getting fed up with his nonsense, Mask tossed the boy down to the ground.
The small boy landed flat on his front.
Mask huffed and turned back to face outside.
"Wha-? What time is it?" Red asked, waking up.
"It's still night time." Green told him, "Wanna meet the Hero of Time?"
"The Hero of Time...? He's alive?"
"He's up there!" Green pointed to the top of the wall.
"On the wall?"
"Yup!"
Red grunted as he got up and looked to the top of the wall.
Mask was standing with his face turned away from us all.
