Chapter 5
“So… Harry’s a Seeker? He catches the Snitch?”
Fred clapped his hands,
“You’re a fast learner, newbie.”
The twins had been teaching me for a week now. It was a good way to keep me entertained.
I grinned,
“I want to know absolutely everything so I don’t look like a right dufus when I go to Hogwarts.”
“Oh no, you look like a dufus anyway.”
I hit his arm,
“Fred! I think I might force you to do the washing up tonight. My evil revenge.”
Sirius walked into the kitchen, his face rather pale. I frowned,
“Are you alright Sirius?”
He nodded,
“I’m worried about Harry. I just want to know he’s safe.”
Mrs. Weasley threw him a glare,
“You know what Albus said.”
I glanced at Fred, confused,
“What did Professor Dumbledore say?”
Sirius shook his head,
“Why don’t you go upstairs?”
Fred, George and I reluctantly stood up. We walked up the stairs and into my room. I plonked down onto my bed,
“Why is everyone so secretive? It’s getting on my nerves.”
Hermione looked up from her book,
“The Order meetings start tonight.”
Fred and George shared an excited look,
“I think it’s time to test the Extendable Ears!”
I laughed,
“You’re really going to test them out? I hope they work! Then we can finally find out what all this mystery is about.”
Hermione shook her head,
“Ava, the meetings are private. You really shouldn’t be listening in.”
“I bet Harry would listen! He would try to, at least.”
