"If Mew makes you cry, tell me. I'll help you no matter what and be by your side 100%"

"Th- thank you..." Maybe he's the person I'm looking for.

"I'm still here you know," Mew said, sounding annoyed as fuck.

"You could drop me here, it's just a couple of doors away, I'll be fine walking,"

"If you insist," I unbuckled myself and quickly left the car.

"Thanks, Mew" I bid him cheerily, he just drove off and said nothing. Asshole!

"Hey, Tul?"

"Yeah?"

"Did you mean it when you said you gonna help me no matter what?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I need your help." I began to explain the whole situation to him, not sparing any details or hidden truth. He nodded along as I explain everything to him, seeming in deep concentration as he took it in.

"I think I knew the main point. Fuck it! I really want to punch that godly face of his"

"What? No! Don't!"

"He can't just play someone's heart like that, moreover someone that genuinely likes him for his assholish behaviour, that's unforgivable!"

"Tul, it's fine!!! That's not the help that I meant,"

"It's not?" This guy is something else, how did he manage to befriend that asshole again?

"Nooo,"

"Oh, then what's it?"

"I don't want you to be the one that tells him, I'm fine with his behaviours, that's what makes him well... him. I just want him to like me back, that's all,"

"Got it! I'll help you until he's wrapped around your finger! We'll get that fucking asshole's heart and turn him into a whipped softie!"

"YES, thank you, thank you, thank youuu!!!"

It's not working.
The next day at school, I tried to do everything Tul told me. He asked Mew about what he likes and dislikes and I've tried to do everything he likes but seems like he just hates me even more now.

I was currently in homeroom, bawling my eyes out to Tul over the phone.

"Tul, I don't know anymore. He seems like he hates me now instead of loving me,"

"A tough one, eh? that sounds like my best friend."

"Not the time, dude, not the timeee,"

"Hm... lemme think..."

"I KNOW WHAT TO DO!" Tul suddenly yelled out and I shriek because my ears hurt.

"E- eh? You know?"

"Yeah, let's do it together, I'll help you,"

Right after school, I insisted on going to Mew's house, saying that I left my thing there when in fact I left nothing. Tul was already there when we arrive and he winked at me subtly.

Mission number 1: princess fall
We made popcorn in the kitchen while Mew prepare the hot cocoa. Tul 'accidentally' bumped himself into me causing me to fall towards Mew. He was supposed to catch me, but he moved away and I kiss the floor. [FAILED]

Mission number 2: cuddle during movie time
We walked into the movie room and sit on one couch with me in the middle. Tul keep pushing me to Mew just so we would end up cuddling or something, but Mew get annoyed and left. [FAILED]

Last mission: jealous or not
Tul started flirting with me and I not so subtly flirted back, we gushed around on and on and giggled every so often in the hope to make Mew jealous. When we hear no reaction, we turned around to find Mew already fast asleep. [FAILED]

We left Mew's house after that, both feeling exhausted and frustrated. Tul drove us back to our neighbourhood and the ride was silent.

"Do you... have any other idea?"

"No, sorry..."

"Same, it's okay," I said, sighing heavily.

"Guess we have to work harder, eh?"

"Seems like it. We've tried lots of things but none of them works. It feels like he's out of my limit, you know like he's a 10 while I'm just a 6."

"What are you talking about? It's just started, if you give up now, it'll all come to an end. I'll stay here by your side and we'll get that asshole's heart, deal?"

"Fine, deal! As long as there's no ring wrapped around his finger, nothing can stop me!" I determinedly said.

"That's the Gulf I know,"

"But what if we keep failing?"

"Nah, we'll make it, I promise!" Tul nodded his head encouragingly and I nodded my head though kind of hesitantly.

Later that night, I was currently asleep when my phone keeps vibrating beside me. I grumpily unlock it and see who the fuck was it.

Well, okay I guess. I looked at the clock above my desk and it said it was 11 PM already. What's so important anyway?

I changed from my Pj's to my daily outfit, before sneaking outta my window. I strolled down the empty street, enjoying the chilly air and silence. This feels so nice, I guess I'll do this more often then.

The sbux was just two blocks away and the used-to-be busy street was empty as fuck. I opened the sbux door, seeing no sign of Tul. But I caught the familiar fluffy hair though. I walked to him and tapped his shoulder softly.

"Gulf?"

"He- hey..."

"What are you doing here?"

"Tul told me to come here,"

"He did? He told me the same thing, wh-"

"Hey, sorry I'm late," We both turned to Tul, a confused glance on our faces.

"Sorry for calling you guys so late,"

"What's so important anyway?" Mew asked for both of us.

"Mew... I'm sorry but I... I love Gulf."
