He knew it was loaded
To him it wasn't just a lifeless analogy
Cause it came true
Jumped right off the page and into his hand
Into his head
Every time life gets hard for someone I'm afraid
Afraid they will end up like him
I don't want to go through that again
Never again
I can't
I just can't
I'm scared
Please don't make me go through that again
