- Penelope's Pov -
My morning didn't go as i planned that's for certain because as soon as i woke up Nathaniel and Nova came stumbling into my bedroom in the early hours looking very pale and look to be in pain. Seeing them like that made my mother instincts kick in i quickly got out of bed and ushered them to get into my bed then i quickly got dressed (Outfit above). Once i was dressed i picked my babies up and rushed them downstairs where i know Loki will be because thay stupid asgardian doesn't need much sleep and thankfully i saw him sat on the couch in the livingroom. When he saw me carrying my pale and in pain babies he jumped of the couch and helped me lay the twins on opposite ends of the couch then he conjoured up my medical bag i have for situations like this. I check Nathaniel's temperature first only to see he has a very low temperature to the point he is constantly shivering and then i see the tips of his finger's look blue the same blue as Loki when he turns into his frost giant form. When i finish checking Nathaniel i check Nova's temperature only to see she has a very high temperature that is almost as high as my unnatural body temperature and then i see the tips of her finger's are bright red just like how my finger's would go when i am about to throw a fire ball.
"It's their power's Loki! Their power's are getting stronger! Where are Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper and Alice because they need to stay back incase they get hurt" I said in panic
"Jasper and Alice went home last night and our mate's are hunting i will make sure they stay outside while you keep Nathaniel and Nova calm especially Nova!" He said back softly
"Okay and try to tell dad and pepper about what's going on i don't want them or morgan getting hurt" I said worriedly
He nods his head and kisses the twins cheeks but he was careful kissing Nova's cheek due to her high temperature then he runs teleports out the house. I quickly run to the kitchen to grab a couple ice packs for Nova and make a couple hot water bottles for Nathaniel once i'm done i rush back to them. Where i make sure to put the hot water bottles on Nathaniel's belly, chest and by his feet wanting him to warm up as fast but safely as possible. Then i put the ice packs on Nova's chest, belly and feet wanting her to cool down as much as possible.
"M-Mummy, N-Nate it h-hurt's" Nova said between sobs as starts to cry
"I-It's o-okay Nova i'm h-here" Nathaniel stutters as he shivers
"I know baby i know" I said with tears gathering in my eyes
"It b-burns m-mummy!!" Nova crys out loudly
That's when i saw a small flame flick from her the palm of her hand then it travels up to her fingers getting bigger and bigger as goes making me realise her pyrokinesis form is going to show it's self. I quickly yet carefully pick her up then rush her outside where Loki stood talking to Emmett and Rosalie who have seven red-eyed vampire's with them but i pay them zero attention. Suddenly Nova whimpers making everyone look over at us while i look down at her only to see her eyes loose their colour and flames take over. I curse out loud then rush to a open yet clear space not wanting any of the vampire's that are here to get hurt then i reluctantly lay her on the ground and step back. I take a deep breath and let my own pyrokinesis form to take over so she wouldn't be alone only to hear gasps from behind ne i look over my shoulder and all the red-eyed vampire's looking at in shock.
"N-Nate, M-Mummy!" Nova yelled as flames engulf her body
"Loki go check on Nathaniel his frost giant form may show it's self! Emmett, Rosalie and whoever the rest of you are stay out here but stay away from me and Nova" I ordered in a firm tone making everyone nod then i turn my attention back to Nova who now has her eyes closed
"Okay and please everyone listen to Penelope her mother instincts are on a high" Loki said just as firmly as me then i see a flash of green in the corner of my eyes as he teleports away
"Of course" The red-eyed vampire's said and i knew it was them because their voices are new
"I promise to stay back baby just help our little girl" Emmett said sadly
"Already doing that babe" I said softly yet worriedly as i watch the flames around Nova get higher and higher
"I know you will do this anyway but be careful Penny" Rosalie said worriedly
"Always am Rose" I said softly watching as Nova starts to shake
"MUMMMY!" Nova yelled as she starts fly upwards due to her wings and i quickly fly up to her
"Baby it's okay relax, your power's are getting stronger your going to be just like mummy, Look at me Nova your just like me" I said calmly and she does look at me
"Mummy w-we're both on fire" She said then giggled and grabd my hands and we flap our wings and fly in a circle
"Nathaniel stop! You can't go to mummy or Nova!" I hear Loki yell
"Nathaniel Tony Stark you better stop where you are right now! Me and Nova are to hot for you to be near us please stay with uncle Loki untill i calm your sister down and you need to calm down too young man" I said sternly not taking my eyes of Nova
"But mummy, Nova needs me and i need my Nova!!" Nathaniel yells upset
"I know you need each other honey but you both can hurt each other so let me and uncle Loki help you both" I said calmly
"O-okay mummy, be safe Nova!" Nathaniel yells softly
"You be safe Nate!" Nova yelled back with a giggle
