Persephone returned to the mortal realm less and less. She grew careless, and Hades began to worry about Demeter's reaction to their relationship.

Demeter, one day, decided to pay Hades a visit. Persephone was away, but Hades doubted she would be gone long.

"Nice day, isn't it, My Lord?" Demeter called from the doorway. Hades looked up.

"Sure," he said in a cold voice.

"Have the souls been favoring you?"

"Demeter," Hades sighed. "We bot know this is not a social call. Pray tell me what you're seeking."

"My daughter," Demeter replied, her face and tone turning icy in a split second.

"Your daughter? I was unaware you had one," Hades said, raising an eyebrow. He watched with a faint smirk on his lips as Demeter's face grew red.

"You always were a great liar, Hades."
