"I don't know how to feel about it," he admitted.
"Why is that?" She asked, mostly to herself.
"I've never had feelings for someone, normally I don't even talk to people. You just came out of nowhere and spoke to me, even when I was difficult. I don't know, it's just different with you."
"I am certainly different," she said in the most morbid voice she could muster. She tilted her head back, letting out a large puff of smoke.
He ignored her bitterness, hoping she was just playing into the dramatics. Watching her smoke still made him feel uneasy sometimes.
