Dear Diary,
Opal returned to school after a three-week absence. So did... What's his name? The handsome one... Um mm... Daniel. (Definitely did not go back and look for his name or anything.)
Dad got out of the hospital and not in a casket like we were thinking. (Thankfully)
They even said that the tumor is almost gone. I'm so happy that he is going to live through this after years of fighting. Now, something is finally working for him.
Mom took him out for dinner.
He threw up everything he ate...
The doctors said that it would take time for him to function properly. No greasy foods either.
