To whomever reads this,
In life, we go through situations that may seem devastating the moment they happen, but then they turn out to be enriching experiences that empower us and give us strength. I did not know how easy my life had been until I left the place that raised me. I learned things that I would have never understood had I never moved.
The safety of home feels good, but the monotony gets tiresome. The challenges you face alone, in the unknown, strengthen you and create a more independent individual. You must be alone to find and become your best self.
I left because I needed change, and now I return as a new and more complete person. Thanks to my decision to leave that day, I can now tell you what I learned while I was away.Jennimar P
