I hear him slam the locker, and I know the plan is working.
"Do you hear me? Pool is closed!" He yells.
He bangs on the door but realizes it's locked. Lucas shuts off the lights and runs back to the closet with us.
"Holy shit," he whispers.
"Billy!" Mike calls out.
I feel my breath get shaky, but I try to hide it. I don't want to make Max worry even more.
"Who's there?" Billy questions.
"Billy!" Mike sings.
"Who's there?" Billy sings back.
I hear Billy slide a shower curtain back in an attempt to find someone.
"Billy," Mike laughs.
"You think this is funny, huh?" Billy hisses.
Mike laughs into the walkie to tease him.
"Billy, come and find me!" Mike says.
"I find you, and it's your funeral," he says menacingly.
That sounds like something he'd say. I still think he's Flayed though. El uses her powers to slowly shut the door, and phase two of the plan is initiated.
"Come on, come on!" Mike laughs.
Billy bursts through the door, and I quietly gasp.
"Billy!" Mike calls out one last time.
Billy stops a couple of feet away from the sauna.
"Got you," he smirks.
Billy's smirk is almost...sinister. This is bad. Billy begins to clap and cackle, walking toward the sauna.
"Come and get me, you piece of shit," Mike says.
Billy swings open the sauna door and grabs the dummy by the throat.
"Hey," Mike says.
Billy looks down at the walkie-talkie.
"Behind you."
Billy snaps his head behind him, and he sees El standing there.
"Hi," she says.
Billy begins to walk toward her, but she uses her power to send him flying back into the wall. He groans in pain and quickly gets up. As she slams the door shut with her powers he slams into it.
"Now!" Mike yells.
We all come out of the closet, and Mike locks the door with a metal pipe. Lucas raps the chain around it and puts a lock on it. Billy repeatedly slams the door and grunts in anger.
Billy looks around, panicked, and starts to heavily breathe. His eyes land on Max, and they stay there, locked on her.
"Max," Billy says.
"Do it," Max says.
Will rushes over and cranks the heat all the way up.
"Let me out," Billy croaks.
We all stare at him, and then his eyes land on mine.
"Y/N..." Billy hisses.
"It'll be okay-" I start.
"You think this is funny?" he asks.
He snaps his head to the rest of the kids.
"You kids think this is funny?" He questions.
