im the first to move in to my college dorm. owen & korbin move in next monday, and kendall thursday.
i walked into my freshman dorm, seeing peyton in there. we move in early due to our season starting early.
"KATIE!!" she screamed
"peyton." her mom said "your not the only one moving in today. im guessing you're katie? weve heard lots about you, bring it in, we hug around her darling."
i hugged her mom, "i thought it was going to be katie hollering." my mom joked "i see they're the same person. its nice to meet you."
our moms talked as we moved our stuff around.
we had our own bathroom & closet.
the room was honestly large.
after a few hours we had our room together.
we ate lunch together as our moms got to know each other.
after dinner & hanging out, we said bye to our parents.
the first night in our dorm was a party.
we made some friends & laughed, but i was a little nervous of what these next few weeks would bring my way.

today i meet the team, and honestly im so nervous.
i walked in the lockerroom with peyton, found my locker and sat in it.
after coach came in and talked we went around telling everyone our names, position & who weve played for.
we tried on new equipment & clothing. found out media day is next week.
i think the best thing about going to school here is all the hockey girls are on the same floor at one end of the dormitory.
classes start in 2 weeks, its really just athletes on campus.
i do miss my brothers & family & owen but ill be home soon for breaks.

more intense, more entertaining.
