Me and the rest of the group are gathered around to bury the people we lost.

Andrea just layed down Amy's body in one of the holes.

A few people cry but I stick to my rule.

It's dark out, and I am laying on the ground under a tree. I am pretty sure I slept through the whole day.

A twig snaps and I see Daryl slowly walking over to me.

I relax and lean my back against the tree.

He grunts and then sits down next to me, but not to close.

"Were going to the CDC in the morning". He says.

"Good".

"You've been sleeping on the floor this whole time"?

"Yups".

"You don't gotta tent"?

"No".

He sighs and then looks at me, he seems super uncomfortable.

"You could....Um... sleep in my tent tonight". He suggests.

"Um......sure".

I stand up and follow him over to a small tent a little bit away from everyone else.

When I walk in the tent there is two cots on either side of the small space. One side is nice and neat and the other is messy and unorganized.

"You can sleep in mine, I'll sleep in Merles". He says while pointing to the cot on the right, luckily that's the nicer side of the tent.

I walk over and sit on the cot and take off my boots.

I then place my gun under my pillow and climb under the blanket.

In the corner of my eye Daryl takes of his boots and then get under the red blanket, trying to get comfortable.

"Thanks...for everything". I whisper.

"No problem". He whispers back.

His voice is the last thing I hear before I drift off to sleep.
