The story will be written in pure English. But since English is not my first language, I apologize in advance for all the grammatical and typographical errors you'll encounter along the way as your read the story. Thank you.

Moreover, the story is under revision and heavy editing. I inserted new scenes in every chapter, but I assure you that the flow or plot of the story will stay the same. I advise every reader to please read the story from the beginning if you would like to know the added scenes, thank you.

Lorelei Manobal was a cheerful 19-year-old female who happened to be a huge fan of a popular girl group known as BLACKVELVET. She loved all of its members dearly, but there was a certain member who reigned in her heart the most. Wondering what her name is? That's right, it's Jia Amory Kim.

"Congratulations on your successful exhibition, Ms. Manobal!" my director said as she kissed me on my right cheek, "I knew you are an excellent photographer, but these shots? These are fantastic!"

"Oh, thank you, Ms. Williams," I uttered with a wide smile visible on my lips, "Launching this exhibition wouldn't be possible if it weren't for your help! I am very much grateful to you and the whole team, you know that?"

"What a sweet lady you are, Lei," she expressed giggly, "I would surely miss you once you go back to South Korea. When's your flight?" she asked with a small pout on her lips.

"I'll be leaving this Friday, Miss," I uttered with a sad voice, "So, I only have two days left here in New York."

"Awe, that's so sad," dismay is also evident in her voice, but she plastered another sweet smile before speaking, "Anyway, if that's so, then let's not waste our remaining time together being sad like this. Let's go! Let's celebrate your successful exhibition!"

I giddily agreed, so Ms. Williams brought the whole team involved in the working of our exhibition to the nearest fancy restaurant.

"Order anything you want; it'll be on me!" director Williams said, and everyone cheered except for me.

I looked at her with hesitance before speaking, "But, Miss, the price here is very costly. Please let me pay at least half of the bill," I said with a smile.

But instead of agreeing, she lightly nudged me, "C'mon, Lei, it's fine! It's my treat, okay? No buts!"

I released a heavy sigh as I nod at her, "Okay, ma'am. If you insist," I smiled as I took a seat.

The celebration was legit fun since we also went to a bar after eating dinner. Now, I find myself lying on a bed with a heavy head that feels like being hammered.

I groaned as I tried to sit and look at the digital clock placed on my side table. My eyes went wide when I saw it's already 2 in the afternoon. Just how long did I sleep?

I showered quickly to cool myself since I was sweating hard and feeling hot the moment I woke up. I also did my morning skincare routine before putting my clothes on. I wore an oversized tee, at least 1 inch above the knee, and black dolphin shorts. I went directly to the kitchen to get medicine and water to ease my hangover. I thought I'll feel a little better once I finished showering but seems like I assumed wrong.

I put the medicine in my mouth and gulped it down with the help of water quickly. I was stretching my neck a little when I heard my phone ring. I took it from the countertop, and my eyes instantly rolled once I saw the caller's id.
