To say the past few weeks had been busy was an understatement.

Between the promotion for his movie, the preparations for his next shooting, the various endorsements he had, the days had passed at a crazy pace.

He liked this effervescence, but he missed her, viscerally.

She too had been busy, if she was taking a break, for obvious reasons, as an actress, she was still in demand as a model, as long as it was still possible.

They spent all their free time together of course, eating in restaurants, shopping for the nursery, or just hanging out at home, gardening together or just cuddling on the couch watching a movie.

He didn't suppress his smile as he put his feet to the ground after an intense workout session. He took off his shoes, wiggled his toes on the floor, stretched meticulously, swallowed half his water bottle, and left their gym. He could smell a simmering dish as he headed toward the kitchen, and his stomach growled impatiently.

"What's cooking?" he asked, going to get a bottle of cold water from the refrigerator.

Yejin was perched on a stool with her back to him. When she didn't answer, he frowned, closed the fridge door and walked over to her.

"Yejin? Are you okay?"

She turned her head towards him and his eyes widened in horror.

Tears were rolling down her cheeks, her eyes were red, and her lips were quivering. She was holding her phone and in a fraction of a second, he was with her.

His hands gently parted the hair that fell on her face, he wanted to see her better and he did his best not to panic.

"Why are you crying? Should I call the doctor? Did something happen?"

She opened her mouth to answer but a sob escaped, so she turned her phone to him instead. He frowned, hesitated, then looked at the screen.

It was him.

More exactly an interview filmed a few days ago as part of the promotion of CA2.

He blinked several times, before returning his attention to Yejin, not really sure what was going on. She took a shaky breath.

"You.... You said that... That your strength, your plus, was your family..."

Oh.

Oh

He felt his lips stretch into an uncontrollable smile.

"Well, it's true..."

New tears welled up in her eyes.

"No, don't cry, I take back what I said! Well, no, I don't, but don't cry!"

"It's just... I don't know why, but I started crying when you said that…"

He chuckled and gently placed a kiss on her forehead.

"You have always been my strength, from the beginning."

He put a hand on her baby bump and rested his forehead against hers.

"And I got even stronger, you're my family, you're my pride, you've become the reason I get up every morning..." he breathed against her lips.

She let out another sob and he laughed, hugging her.

"I wanted to make fun of you, and instead look at me! It's your fault..." she mumbled against his chest.

" I know... "

"You're all sweaty…"

"I'm sorry…"

"I don't mind…"

"Good…"

"Jagiya?"

" Yes ? "

"You are my plus too…"
