Wei Ying let Lan Zhan drag him with a small smile in his lips
"thank you" Wei Ying said when they finally entered in their tree house
"I didn't do anything" Lan Zhan said with his back facing Wei Ying as he went and lay in the couch still back facing the other but despite this Wei Ying still smiled widely and silently went and sit to one of the couches and starts reading some history books, reading history books about their kingdom has been one of the addictions Wei Ying found while he was staying there
'Lan Zhan you really are crazy' Lan Zhan on the other hand scolding and questioning himself for what he did a while ago, he himself doesn't understand why he did that when in the first place he decline the latter's request
The next day Lan Zhan again dragged Wei Ying before Li Xing can even speak
"is it just me or is Lan Zhan interested in Wei Ying and is deliberately taking Wei Ying away from me?" Li Xing ask the three
"you are thinking too much, Wei Ying ask Lan Zhan to help him with his combat skills" Johnny replied
"I told him I can do it why ask for help from others?" Li Xing said and the three just shrugged
Even the next days Lan Zhan will always find ways to drag Wei Ying away from Li Xing and it's making the other really upset that he almost shout at him one time but the other was fast enough to leave before he can even do it and at the moment the evaluation set by the elders this time was the seniors choosing someone from the freshmen to combat with which give advantage to Li Xing to challenge Lan Zhan
"I pick him" Li Xing said and Lan Zhan can only stand up having no other choice
"good luck" the four wished him though they knew Lan Zhan has the big chance to win as they have witness him fight he was also the one who's actually been training them secretly
"excuse me you excellencies for my rudeness but can I have a bet with him?" Li Xing daringly asked
"and what would the bet be?" ask one of the elders who seemed thrilled
"if I win he will be in the beginner's class for another two years despite his evaluation also he has to stay away from him" Li Xing said pointing at Wei Ying who was now looking very shock
"and if he wins?" ask King Yang Zhu Ran
"if he wins I'm willing to go to the beginner's class my self" he said
"and you also have to stop bothering him and stay away from us" Lan Zhan spoke referring to Wei Ying the bet made not only the other students interested but also all the evaluators
"you may start then" one of the elders said as the barrier around the stage activated making the people inside it fight with all they have without worrying about the people around them and there's also a screen which portrays what's going on inside more clearly for the students away from the stage
"air and fire, an interesting pair up" one of the elders say looking at the profile of the two
As the fight starts Lan Zhan didn't bring his power out unlike Li Xing who attacked him first with his power making him fly across the stage but Lan Zhan doesn't seem to mind the pain in his body as he stood up and run in an incredible speed giving Li Xing a hard kick in his stomach that sends him also flying across the stage
"woah!" the crowed cheered and Li Xing also stood up smirking this time Li Xing also attack Lan Zhan not with his power they then start a hand-to-hand combat which neither one of them seems to gave up
