"you've grown strong and independent child I'm proud of you" queen Wang Jing whispered that only Lan Zhan heard her and she finally retracted her hand and with one last smile and glance towards everyone the queen walked back beside her husband
"we know you are all tired, we've already checked your quest you may go take your rest" another elder said and all courtesies before they all walked away, this time instead of going in their own rooms they all went to Yang Yang's room instead
"I'm going crazy" Lusi said standing up and walked towards Lan Zhan who was laying down on Yang Yang's bed with eyes closed but definitely not asleep
"who are you?" ask Lusi
"Lusi" Yang Yang tried to stop her but she seemed unstoppable
"you can do spells, you seemed to easily find us when we left you out there and your so mysterious" Lusi again said this time Lan Zhan open his eyes and sat down on the bed, he first look at Lusi and then look around to his other friends
Silence embraced the room as Lan Zhan sighed for at least three times seems like hesitating if he should open his mouth
"this is troublesome" Lan Zhan murmured and in the next second he was already near the door making the others once again shock
"a friendly reminder curiosity killed the cat" Lan Zhan said before he left leaving the others all dumbfounded
When the night came, in a forest, a portal opened and a young man in dark clothes was there waiting for whoever was coming out from that portal
"son how was the school?" ask the man who came out hugging the young man
"it's alright dad no worries" the young man replied
"did you manage to get something for me son?" he again ask with a smile
"I'm sorry dad but they are more strict than we anticipated I can't break through their defense yet" the young man answered looking down
"it's alright son it's only two week but I hope the next time we meet you have something for me" the man said with a smile yet his tone was stern and threatening before he again entered the portal and it automatically closed as the young man can only clench his fist and left the forest jumping from one tree to another
The next days passed and unlike the usual Lan Zhan distanced himself from his friends Lusi even tried to apologized but the other distant his self and seemed like doesn't have any intention to talk to them ever again
"this is all my fault" Lusi said everyone was in their tree house
"blaming yourself won't undo what you've done just give him some more space and time he will come to us don't worry to much" Yang Yang comforted her
And just like that a month passed without Lan Zhan talking to them
"Li Xing your here early" Yang Yang said referring to their new friend who they've met in their last evaluation day
"yeah seniors are always early dismissed" he said as they all start eating their dinner while Lan Zhan who was suppose to enter the cafeteria backed out seeing them laughing about something he wasn't interested at all or not
