The morning came before Kayce knew it rolling over he sat up getting out of bed he looked over and saw that monica that was up. He sighed softly knowing that this was not going to be an easy conversation with her. He went to take a shower to start his morning, after getting dressed her heading down to the kitchen seeing monica and Tate at the table " Good morning" Tate smiled at his father"im running late for the office, but Monica maybe you can  stop by for lunch I need to talk with you about something"Monica smiled at kayce and nodded" I will see you at lunch" Kayce said bye to both of them and left heading towards the office

Haley rolled out of bed and walked over to the attached bathroom, starting the shower she stepped in she took a quick shower. As much as she wanted to call kayce  and talk to him and explain somewhat of the reason she left, she couldn't he needed to calm down  and  for now they both needed the space from each other. Finishing up her shower she got out heading back into her room she checked the time seeing it going on 10:30 she quickly  got dressed as she then headed towards Evelyns room to wake her " Evelyn sweetheart time to get up, we have lunch soon with your uncle Jamie" Evelyn yawn as she got up got of bed" Oka mom, I'll meet you down stairs when im done" Haley kissed her forehead as she headed down stairs into  the living room. taking her phone out she texted beth to see if they were still on for later and texted Ashton  to tell her about tonight. She had an idea on what to do  with them tonight, it involved her old prom dress some paint and drinking. Haley smiled to herself as she heard Evelyn heading down the stairs. " im all set mom" Haley smiled and got up " lets go" she grabbed the keys as they walked out of the house getting in the car they head towards Jamies job,

Kayce sat at his desk in his office, why was he having second thoughts about Monica and his happiness now, could if have been because of haley being back. What he did know was that tell Monica about having to find himself and  him having to go stay at the ranch while he does, wasn't going to be easy. Kayce sat at his desk replaying his last night at home before leaving for the navy, specially the conversation  he had with Haley. If had known then that she was going to leave he would have stop her and maybe she knew that which is why she didn't tell him. Hearing a knocked on the door it brought him out of his thoughts, He looked up seeing Monica " I brought us lunch so we could talk" Kayce got up from his desk and walked over towards her  he kissed her cheek softly as they both sat at the table 

Moments earlier Monica had been walking in the halls with lunch for her and kayce when she bumped into some "Im so sorry I didn't look where I was going I was  looking around as I was going to the bathroom" Haley looked at Monica making sure she didn't knocked anything on to her. Monica smiled softly " it's totally fine it happens to the best of us" Finally looking at the woman in front of her " haley?" she said haley looked at her confused and nodded "yes?" Monica looked at her "I know you look familiar I'm Kayce's wife Monica, I've seen pictures of you two growing up.. it's nice to finally meet you I didn't know you were back" Haley looked at Monica listening to her, she never thought she would meet his wife. Haley smiled a little " I actually just moved back im just having lunch with Jamie and catching up with him" Haley pointed towards the bathrooms "Im sure kayce is waiting for you, I'll see you around though" The girls both said bye and went there separate ways

Monica sat down  getting the food out" I ran into your old friend Haley, in the hallway she's having lunch with Jamie. You didn't mention she came back." Kayce looked up at Monica"oh it must of slipped my mind"  Monica nodded "we should invite her over one day" Kayce nodded as he began to eat, thinking of the conversation he needed to have with Monica. Hearing that Haley was here made him excited to maybe run into her again, even though he was still pissed at her. As they finished up eating kayce looked up at Monica "Mon, I've been thinking lately and first I want you to know I love you and Tate so much. But I need to figure things out for myself right now  and Im going to stay at the ranch" Monica looked at kayce her heart breaking a little, she know they were going to have a conversation like this one day. truth was Monica was feeling the same way. But after everything that has happened she didn't know how to bring it up to Kayce. Monica nodded "I've been feeling the same way kayce I just didn't know how to figure it out, maybe it's best if you do go to the ranch. After this I'll bring  your stuff there before I get Tate from my parents" Kayce nodded looking at her " Monica im so sorry" Monica smiled" it's not your fault, it's no ones fault"Kayce nodded, as they both cleaned up Monica getting her stuff together saying good bye  she left the office on her way to get his stuff for him

Jamie had haley and Evelyn in tears from laughing so hard, if there was one Dutton who remembered everything about  Haley and kayce  growing up it was  Jamie. "Uncle Jamie there is no way my mother did that" Jamie laughed looking at Evelyn then haley" I mean it Evelyn  your mom got so mad at rip and kayce one day that put hair dye in there shampoo and they both had purple hair for weeks" Evelyn laughed and looked at her mom "Mom what did they even do" Haley shrugged" I have no clue I don't remember" Jamie smiled at the both of them checking the time he notice he had a meeting soon" I would love to continue this but I have a meeting and I know you guys have plans with beth" They both got up and hugged him goodbye " Jamie we have to do this again, you'll have to come bye one night" Saying good bye the left and head out to the car, getting in they headed towards the first start that beth was meeting them at

Beth smiled as she saw Haley and Evelyn pulling up "I thought you guys were going to be forever" Haley laughed getting out. " of course not we have lots to do before tonight with Ashton who will meet us at the house" The three of them linked arms as the shopping spree began. by the four store, Evelyn need a break" Can we be down for today my feet are killing me" Beth and Haley laughed softly something they were so use to doing cause it's what they always did." Yes we can,  Evelyn how about you head back with your aunt and I'll  bring all the bags home and Beth you come  after she's settle and I'll set up for the fun night for me you and Ashton"  going through separate ways  haley walked back to her car putting her bags in the trunk she closed it, getting in the car she head home to change set up the balloons with paint 

Pulling into her driveway she saw rip on her porch with everything she needed. Haley parked her car getting out "now should we all be on alert tonight with whatever you got planned" Haley laughed getting the bags out of the trunk before walking up the porch " I guess you'll just have to wait to find out" She smiled innocently as rip opened the door for her, haley walked in dropping her bags on the floor and took the stuff from rip "thank you and don't worry about us you have fun, Maybe hang out with the little mini me okay bye" Haley laughed as she quickly go Rip to leave, She clapped with delighted as she  went to get started on filling up the balloons. Haley knew for a fact that they may end up getting in trouble for the idea she had.  finishing up with the balloons she  put them in a bin outside.  Haley heard the front door open looking over she saw it was Beth and Ashton "So whose ready to possibly get in-trouble tonight" Haley smirked "now lets drink and I'll tell you my idea cause we have to wait til it's a little bit darker"
