After calming down from what felt like an hour Haley wiped her tears and looked up at John "I'm sorry mr Dutton for everything" John looked at her" There's no need to be sorry for anything, I would do the same thing for any of my kids" Haley smiled mind some visitors tonight I would love to go horse riding with Evelyn" John smiled and nodded as he got up "you know your welcome there any time"she smiled as she got up " thank you, I'll be fine I know you have places to go" John nodded "call me if you need anything " Haley smiled and walked up the porch steps" I will I promise" she said before walking in, John signed as he walked off towards his truck getting in he headed towards kayces office to check on him

After getting back to his office he sat at his desk rest his head in his hands, replaying the conversation in his head. What was she hiding that she was so scared to tell him, was is someone that she's hiding from. He looked up when he heard his office door opened and saw his dad come in " Dad I really don't want to be lectured right now" John nodded  as he walked over to sit in the chair in front of Kayce desk" well it's good thing im just here to talk then and listen" Kayce leaned back in his chair looking at his father " im guessing you just saw haley" John nodded" I did, beth mentioned you had found out. I went to see haley before seeing you figured you needed to cool down a little bit" Kayce shook his head" Im still pretty pissed off, how could she do that first leave then come back and me not being the first person she see's and then my whole family knows and doesn't tell me" He looked at his father, John took a deep breath before looking at  him and speaking. "you know I think once you both have calm down, mostly you. The both of you need to sit down and have a civil conversation. kayce think of it from Haley's point of view" Kayce leaned forward on his desk "what about me?" He looked at his father  "how about how I feel or felt, waking up to find out the girl I love was gone with out so much as a goodbye" John stood up from his seat" Now are you mad that she left at a time you loved her or are you'd because you still love her and she's back and she didn't come right to you" Kayce shook his head" Im with Monica I love my wife" John walked towards the door" the heart knows what it wants, I suggest thinking about it before you and haley speak again"John said before leaving, Kayce new he had to figure everything out he knows that he loves Monica, but is he really happy with her after everything feeling like he's did everything she wanted to make her happy shaking his head kayce needed to focus on work right now.

Haley spent the rest of the day cleaning and straightening up the house, She felt bad for how things went with kayce earlier. She had it planned out differently on how  she wanted to talk to him. Finishing up she went up stairs to get changed and waited for  Ashton and Evelyn out side. Seeing them pulling in she smiled as she walked over towards the car " did have fun today" Evelyn smiled hugging her mom tight. Haley hugged her back and smiled "I just had a feeling you needed a big hug from me today," she smiled at her mother " but we did have fun and where are we going" Haley smiled" Baby girl you don't know how right you are, and me and you are going to grandpa johns house to ride some horses" Evelyn smiled  looking up at her mom " really" Haley nodded" yes now I have everything you need so get in and we will head right over there" Evelyn smiled as she got in the car, Ashton  crossed her arms and walked over to Haley "so how did it not" Haley signed" Not as planned, he got pretty pissed and before he left he basically said because I can't be honest with them to him im still gone"  Ashton rubbed her arm gently" im Sorry hales, I know how hard it was going to be. But take the time now to maybe work out a plan with John on telling him about Evelyn" Haley shrugged" Maybe, but for now im not going to try and reach out to him" Ashton nodded" alright if you need me call me for now go have fun on those horses" they Hugged gently as haley got in here and Ashton got in her's. 

Evelyn looked out the window as she her mother drove  towards the ranch" I saw dad last night" Haley stopped short as she turn into the ranch looking over at Evelyn" What when why didn't you tell me" So many thoughts ran through her head did he know that Evelyn was his daughter, is that what he was talking about earlier. Evelyn sighed looking her mom " you can keep driving, and I didn't tell you cause it wasn't a big deal  grandpa say I was Beth's friend kid"Haley sighed in relief as she continued driving up " I know this is hard on you and im sorry honey, soon you will officially meet him. for now lets ride some horses and maybe we can talk  your grandfather and aunt beth  into have a fire  with use tonight and roast some marshmallows" Evelyn smiled" lets do it"They both stepped out of the car and headed inside the house " Trouble maker 1 and trouble maker Junior are here" walking into the living room Haley smiled seeing Jamie " well I didn't think I would see you here at the ranch"Jamie  smiled and hugged Haley " well if it wasn't  that I would get to meet my niece I would of stopped by" Haley looked over at Evelyn" Evelyn this is your uncle Jamie, maybe tomorrow we will stop by his office and have lunch with him" Evelyn smiled at her uncle" Hi uncle Jamie, im glad to finally meet you" Jamie smiled " im glad to finally meet you to, you look so much like your mother at that age. but I do see Kayce in here" Haley smiled as she heard John speak" hopefully she's not a trouble Maker like them"They All laughed " I was not that bad" haley said

Jamie smiled at the both of them " well I do have to head out but I will take you both up on that offer for lunch tomorrow" Haley and Evelyn both said bye to Jamie. Evelyn looked at her grandpa" so grandpa  can we have a camp fire tonight and roast marshmallows" John smiled at her" of course darling, go get ready for the horse and then you and your mother can go for that ride Lloyd and Ryan have a horses ready for you" Evelyn smiled and ran up the stairs to get changed. Haley walked over and sat on the couch" I think after he's calm down and figured things out I'll tell him about Evelyn,  But I am not telling him about you and lee" She looked up at John " Haley I think for right now it's best if you two have space from each other, you may have forgotten but I remember how you to get when you guys fight. It's how my favorite lamp got broke" Haley laughed" you hated that lamp" John laughed"I please the fifth, Lloyd excited to see you" haley Smiled as she heard her daughter coming down the stairs" Im ready" Evelyn said, haley stood up and walked over towards her daughter linking arms with her "Mr. Dutton I would get started on working on the camp fire or have rip do it" John chuckled watching the girls had out towards the barn to get the horse
