"Is this one good?" She asks.
"I love it. Can we buy it?"
"Sure."
Once I've payed, I somehow ended up having a nice long conversation with Elena, who I've just learned is her name. I really liked talking to her not gonna lie. We even exchanged numbers.
We left and started walking to the mall.
Is it odd that we're walking for a couple miles and not going in an Uber just to get to a mall? A little.
But are we still going to walk? Yes.

After a long walk, we've made it to the mall. We've been in and out of stores, trying to find something for tonight.
So far I've had no luck, but Amara has found something. We're walking towards the exit-
Hold up.
I stop immediately and Amara also stop a little more in front of me. I turn my body as I fully see the black, silk dress in front of me.
A gasp leave my mouth. I start walking towards it and BAM I've found my dress.

The more I walk closer the prettier it gets. I stop in front of it. Amara and I just stand there in front of it drooling.
"I like this one." Amara's the first to speak.
"Yeah." I shakily say. I look at the price and I swear my eyes picked out of my eye sockets.
Why are there so many zeros?
"Get it. It's really pretty and you have no other choice," She pauses looking up at me. "Just do it. Treat yourself only for today. I recommend it really"
After thinking for a while of thinking if it's worth it or not, I put it away. But Amara grabs it and starts walking to the check out area.
"Amara come back." She says nothing and does nothing but carry on walking.
There's nothing for me to do, but follow her. There's no one in line, so she walks through and to the desk in front.
She places the dress on top of the counter and exchanges words with the man on the other side.
Breathe.
Once I've walked for a solid two minutes I stand right next to Amara, look down at her with a 'really' look and she returns it.
I let out sigh.
"Ciao." He greets with a warm smile showing his straight white teeth.
"Ciao." I take out my credit card from my LV purse.
"come va la giornata, signora?" He asks.
(Translation: how is your day going ma'am?)
"sta andando bene e tu?" I ask.
(Translation: it's going well and you?)
"Buona." I smile.
(Translation: good)
I pay.
"Grazie." I thank as he hands me the matte black bag.
(Translation: thank you)
"buona giornata." He says with a wave.
(Translation: have a nice day)
"Addio." Amara sassily says.
(Translation: bye)
We walk away and out the store.
"I can't believe you." I said.
"Oh mother, I know you can't."
Where does she get this sassy, don't give a fuck from?
I've always wondered where she got it. I as it from Ace? He was never like this. Aubrey? Maybe, but not really. Me? Definitely a NO NO.
