Y/n's POV

It doesn't matter how many times I get to see a flower field. As long as I'm with all of you, I'll never get sick of it.

A life without the people I hold dear, what would that be like?

I wouldn't even last a day. Thinking about that thought hurts my head.

I wonder, is there a universe out there, or maybe, a timeline wherein I nearly lost you all? If there was, how did I manage?

The thought of losing them scares me. I may not be the strongest person both physically and mentally, but if I ever had to be, I would do it for their sake.

As I stared down on the children playing, I sat down on top of a hill, along with three of my closest friends.

Conny and the rest of the kids were playing tag, with Don and Gilda serving as the 'monsters'.

The student council members were all trying to beat one of my closest friends, Norman in a game of chess. This wasn't their first attempt though.

From kindergarten days, Norman had always been smart. He was calm and collected, thinking of a solution instead of panicking in times of crisis.

Not to mention, he has a kind heart. He may not be the strongest physically, but his cleverness makes up for that.

And then we have Emma, who is currently hiding behind a tree, waiting for the perfect time to scare Ray and me.

She's simple-minded and straightforward. A determined lady indeed. The way she talks and acts really depends on her feelings. Very selfish, I must say. Logic won't work when arguing with her. Once she's set her eyes on something, it's impossible to stop her.

I admire those two a lot. They're the perfect fit for one another. Having them around makes our times together even more cherishable.

"Emma, you're not tricking anyone." Ray called out, shooing Emma away.

In total shock and devastation, Emma kept her pride up as she stuck a tongue at him before stomping towards Norman.

"You noticed it too?" I spoke up.

"Of course. She sucks at sneaking up on people anyways. Even a baby would twist its head towards Emma if they ever hear her." Ray exaggerated.

"The baby would suffer serious injuries before it could even take a look at its possible attacker." I laughed.

"Fair enough." he shrugged.

"I brought you some drinks." Vincent announced, handing Ray and I two glasses of our favorite flavored drinks.

We thanked him and before I was gonna take a sip, Ray stopped me.

I turned to him, confused as to why he would do that. He then proceeded to tell me to sniff the drink.

Unsure, I still did it and it smelled nothing like normal juice.

"Vincent, are you trying to get us drunk? What's the meaning of this?" I called him over.

In the background, you could see Barbara and Cislo get agitated, clearly stating that they were behind this. Vincent almost got scolded for something he didn't do or had no idea of.

"When we get back to school, you two will be in charge of handling the school's activities." Norman punished, disappointed at their childishness.

"As much as I would love that, hate to break it to you but we've graduated." Cislo reminded.

"Exactly so, sucks for you, Prez." Barbara agreed.

Ah, right. The third-years are graduating already. Next year, I'm turning into a second-year. After another year, I'm off to college.
