"Their outfits look so cool!"

"I heard they're promoting the crêpe stall outside. We totally have to check that out! I bet it'll be bomb."

"Isn't that the Vice-President with the mean person from the Disciplinary Committee?"

"Mean person?" Ray repeated with a flinch as soon as he heard the name. I mean, they're not wrong.

"Sup, Vice-Prez! Heya, emo wannabe!" we heard Barabara call out to us. I smiled and waved at her while Ray fumed at his second nickname of the day.

"What's up with the outfits? Ya two look dope, though." Barbara remarked, eyeing our outfits.

"We thought it'll look cool if we matched our crêpe stall. It kinda has the demon theme going on." I explained.

"Sick, so, shouldn't ya two be at the crêpe stall ya mentioned earlier?" Barbara questioned.

"Well, Emma and Norman are handling it right now. We'll have to switch shifts later on." I elaborated.

"I heard ya were gon' play fortune-telling or something, what happened to that?" Barbara asked.

"That'll be open after we switch shifts. I'll be handling the crêpes while Y/n does fortune-telling." Ray answered.

"Oh, then I'll have to come by later once y'all change shifts. Bet I'll be first there." she grinned.

The two of us continued to walk through the hallways, grabbing more attention from schoolmates.

Of course, modelling and using the hallways as our runways weren't the only things we were doing.

This is honestly so embarrassing. I have no idea what Emma and Norman were thinking when they thought this was a cool idea.

I'm just glad the author changed ideas. After all, she was planning on making us wear the bodysuits Zero Two and Hiro wore before entering their Franxx.

Afraid that she might make people mad or dislike it, she changed it to just the simple uniform.

And yes, I am breaking the fourth wall again.

Since we didn't want to spend our break modelling, we decided to try out a few places and other food stalls.

"They do fortune-telling as well, huh? Do you wanna check out its accuracy?" Ray suggested.

"Well, I don't mind. I don't usually believe in them, but they're indeed amusing." I replied as we headed in.

After all, fortune-tellings are nothing more than vague, easy-to-believe statements that rely on your own mind filling in the blanks, effective only because of the Barnum effect.

We entered the dim room that was only lit by a glowing ball, I'm guessing it's the crystal ball for 'looking into the future' or something.

"Oh, what a cute couple! I'm assuming you want to know your future together?" the fortune-teller asked.

"We're not a couple! We only came here for fun. Don't get the wrong idea." Ray argued.

"Hm, using the Tsundere translator Gillian and Sonya advised, in other words, you want to know but you're afraid this young lady would find you weird?" she guessed.

"No." he scoffed. The fortune-teller only chuckled in reply.

"Very well, I will tell your future." she announced. There appeared to be two students with interesting outfits behind her.

"Tota eusoraono...eri-chamomile! Hah!" she chanted. The crystal ball began to change color. Hold on, Chamomile?

"What does the reading say?" I asked. She seems to be avoiding eye contact with us. I have a feeling the result isn't good.
