We walked over to the others Acapella came down and hugged me "I'm glad you're okay" I laughed hugging back "I always will be my angel". "How's it going, Wheels?" Missy asked. She went to
hug the others. "Great. All we have to do is swap out the ignition chamber's motherboard with one that'll tell the device that it launched even when it didn't. That way we fooled it-" "Dude, just tell us how long.'
" Noodles interrupted. He pressed a button. "Oh, now long. Now put it into the ignition chamber up there." He handed it to me. I went to fly it up there but Ojo drew a tentacle that smacked me out of the sky, hitting my head in the process and going out. The chip fell off the platform and onto the ground. "Y/n!!." A Capella cried as she raced over to me. "Noodles!" Missy yelled. He went to reach down and get it but couldn't. "I-I can't reach." He said pulling his arm back up. "And Supernova is out cold" rewind said pointing over to where Acapella was holding me in her arms. "It's too high to jump." Facemaker said. "Nobody would ever survive that fall." She said. "I...Can." Slo-Mo said raising his hand. "Slo-Mo?" Missy questioned. Slo-Mo then jumped off the platform. "Slo-Mo!" She yelled. "Rewind, stop him. Reverse it!" Missy yelled. "Hold on." He said holding up his finger. "I think he knows what he's doing. "We're running out of seconds." Missy said. The shouting woke me up and I open my eyes to see Acapella teary eyed watching me "thank gawd you're okay" she cried helping me up "I got saved by my angel I'm always okay". I kissed her cheek than walked over to the others. Slo-Mo landed safely and grabbed the motherboard holding it up for all of us to see. We cheered. "Uh, guys, how are we gonna get him back up here?" Wheels asked. "Wild Card?" I called. "We need you. Right now!" Missy yelled. "On my way. Stay cool." Out of no where he showed up holding his hands together. "Dude! You actually teleported!" Facemaker told him. They high-fived. "I'm proud of you little bro"I said hugging him."Get down there, quick!" Missy said He held his hands together again and disappeared. He reappeared at the bottom next to Slo-Mo. He grabbed Slo-Mo and flew them up back onto the platform. "Now swap the motherboards up there!" Wheels said. I flew up and replaced the motherboards with only one second left to spare. I flew back by Acapella The ground started to shake and we all stumbled. Then loud noises started coming out of nowhere. We covered our ears. Then we saw the rocket open up and a bright light a appeared. We covered and squinted our eyes. "What's happening?" Missy asked. "The takeover is happening. " Ojo said. The rocket stopped opening and we uncovered our ears and eyes. We looked and saw our parents walk out. "Wait. So our parents were in the pyramid all along? But I don't understand." Missy said walking over to Ojo. Ms. Granada and the president walked up behind Ojo and we all turned to look a them. "What's the takeover?" She asked. "The takeover of power.. from your parents. You see, the next generation is always an improvement from the last." Ms. Granada told us. "Things are not heading in the right direction on your planet. And you children are inheriting Earth's problems, and need to be able to fix them, sooner rather than later." Ojo explained. "It's in the best interest of the entire galaxy that life on Earth survives and thrives. So, we infiltrated both your government and Heroics headquarters so we could train you and accelerate the transfer of power." The president said. "As you've seen from today's events, it's not enough to be strong, powerful, or even magic. If you do not use your strengths together and with good judgment...you are doomed." Ojo stated. "But I don't understand. The clock hit zero. We were one second too late." Wheels said. "The supreme commander knew down to the second exactly when the takeover would happen." The president said. "Your guess was close, Wheels, but not quite right. Everything on the ship wasn't designed for children." Ojo said. "Oh, it was designed by children." He said in realization. "That's correct. On our planet, the children are in charge." Ojo said looking around her. They all grew tentacles and bowed to her. "So, you're their leader?" Missy asked. "You're the supreme commander?" I asked. "Yes. Just as I knew you would be a natural leader. It's why I drew you at the front of the class. So, from one leader to another, as we each head off to face the challenges of the universe, can we count on you to not just save your planet.....but the entire galaxy?" "You have our word. When you need us... we'll be
there." Missy said putting her hands on her hips.
"Thank you." Ojo said. She raised her arms and the platform became one floor. Our parents stepped onto it and ran to us. "Dad!" Me and wildcard yelled. He lifted us up. "Oh, I missed you kids." He said to us. "We missed you too." I said. "Yeah, like a lot." Wildcard said. "I'm so proud of you two. You were amazing.""and you got your powers under control I couldn't be any prouder" He told us. Thank you." We said. We told him about everything we did. From the very beginning. We got closer to the rest of the group still taking. Missy walked over and fist bumped Facemaker. She hugged me and smiled. I walked over to Acapella and her mom "ahh Y/n," she hugged me "I am so glad you were the one she chose and not facemaker or slo-mo" I laughed and Acapella hugged me I kissed her cheek. Missy walked by and She high-fived Rewind and hugged Fast Forward. She high fived Noodles. She hugged Acapella and nodded to her I'm guessing letting her know she's sorry for flirting with me. "Hey, Dad! Hey, Grandma!" She told them. "Hey!" They replied. "Someone's made few friends." Her Dad said. "I tell you, Marcus, natural-born leader." Miss Moreno said.
