Deciding to ignore Regis I looked up at the sun to see that it was a bit past halfway through its arch. "HOLY! IT'S PAST NOON!" I yelled out, jumping out of my sleeping bed and getting ready to leave.
Within twenty minutes I took a quick bath on the far side of the cove away from the others and got dressed. Once I had made it back to where Caera, Regis, and Sylvie were, all of Caera's items were gone, most likely inside her dimension ring, just leaving mine.
Sylvie had woken up and proudly sat on top of Regis, while wearing a matching toothy grin with Regis.
"Finally, it took you long enough to get ready," Caera muttered, walking over to me and straightening out my wrinkled clothes. "Alright, we've already lost most of our day due to you oversleeping. We should get a move on as soon as possible," Caera said. I walked over to my things and placed them into my extra-dimensional rune, only keeping out the map to the Djinn city.
"Come on Sylv, time to go," I said, Sylvie gave me a slight nod before jumping off Regis' head and a bright light enveloped her as she transformed. A pair of large black wings coated in black feathers sprung out of her body as the rest of her large draconic body covered in scales followed soon after.
"Come on Papa, Mama, it's time to go," Sylvie smiled, lowering her body down allowing Caera and I to get on.
"So, where do I ride?" Regis asked. I looked down to see him with large puppy dog eyes. Letting out a small sigh I patted right in front of me. "YES!" Regis yelled out, shrinking his body down into the size Sylvie would be when in her two-tail white fox form.
I opened the map and looked at where we were going. "Alright, the city seems to be about three hours away west. You think you'll be fine to fly that, Sylv?"
"I'll be fine, papa," Sylvie gave me a small smile before stretching out her wings, with one large swing of them she left off the ground, the winds created by her wings moving the trees around us.
As we sorted through the sky the map we had helped us navigate through the skies, bringing us closer and closer to Elethia.
--------------------------
It was about three hours later, and we were no longer flying through the clear blue sky, but now flying through a bright orange sky, the sun setting in front of us and the moon rising behind us.
The temperature around us was getting colder, as the sun began to set. As the heat from the sun left us, we had to fend for the heat our bodies produced.
"When are we going to get there?" Regis asked, a small tick mark forming on his forehead as he looked around.
"Soon, we aren't that far out now," I said, looking around for anything that would tell us where the city is located and not just what the map is telling us.
I looked over to the side, looking down at the terrain below us. We were quite high, most likely above cloud level if there were any right now. At least that's what I thought until I looked ahead of us. There was this large cloud, just a single cloud above even the level we were flying at. The shadow seemed to be maybe six seven times larger than Xyrus city.
"Sylvie, fly up into that cloud!" I yelled out. Sylvie gave me a small nod before she blasted off. The wind flew through our hair as we flew right at the suspicious cloud in front of us.
Sylvie flew right through the cloud, and soon after we saw a light on the other side of the cloud we were in. Flying towards the light, we were able to make it through the cloud, revealing Elethia.
The city was perfect, it was everything you would expect when looking at Djinn's work. It was as if I were looking at a masterpiece that could never be redone by even the finest craftsmen in the world.
