Rose's P.O.V.
It was 11:30 A.M. and a birthday girl was dancing by the window, her name is Lily Jackson, I think. This was a big event for the pizzeria, because we have not hosted a birthday party in 5 years. The girl was dancing by the window, excited for her special day. Her mother was unfolding a bright pink tablecloth, with her maternal skill.
I turned around, and saw the boy was still mumbling. I'd been trying my best to get information out of him, the only thing I could get, was his name, Joshua.
Lily stopped dancing, it was like she sensed something, Joshua was now quiet, like he sensed something. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the door to the back room was open, I heard a creak, and nothing else. There was no one else here except for Joshua, excited Lily, her stressed-out mother, and me.
The boy whispered, "It's him."
