Chapter 1- YES IT'S ME

I sighed for the 3rd time glaring at my husband who was sleeping next to me cuddled

Yes you read that right

My husband the scariest Spanish mafia lord is cuddling me

Welcome to the life of being married to the Spanish mafia don's wife

If someone had told me that Diego Romano, one of the Scariest people alive would be a total softy for his wife and kids I would have congratulated that person and handed over an Oscar to being the weirdest person in history

But oh boy was I wrong

I would have never and I mean ever imagined being married to this idiot for 5 years and still counting, especially having an adorable 4 year old daughter .....Who is pretty much her Daddy's Angel and not her mother's.

Anyways back to my current situation...... I have been trying for 10 minutes to get out from the bed but to no avail. Now don't get me wrong I love my dear idiotic husband and his cuddle sessions but right at the moment I really need my 'bathroom break ' and my husband's ridiculously strong arms are not helping this freaking situation at all. Grabbing the pillow next to me I raised Diego's strong arms before quickly stuffing it in between his arms. Diego sleepily touched the pillow before pulling it towards him and snuggling into it. Smiling to myself at my small victory , I rolled off the bed heading over to start by daily routine.

Opening my wardrobe I pulled out my headphones which were gifted to me by my best friend Reina Romano . Putting my headphones to charge , I decided to Re-read Percy Jackson. Switching on the lamp beside me, I sat beside Diego on the bed. The pillow which I had kept earlier still in between us. Flipping through the pages I began to busy myself in reading.

Halfway through the book I began to hear the door knob of mine and Diego's room creak open reveling our 4 year daughter Lilianna grinning cheekily.

"Good Morning Mommy "said Lilianna closing the bedroom quietly behind her before dashing towards the bed at full speed. Placing a book mark in my book I picked her up and made her sit on my lap, giving her a kiss on the cheek

"Good morning sweetie, now why don't you tell me the reason you have woken up so early?" I asked knowing the answer already

" WE ARE GOING TO MEET GRANDMA AND GRANDPA AND DADDY NEEDS TO WAKE UP ! " whisper yelled my daughter excitedly

"you are right ! why don't we try and wake up your father ?" I asked her earning an eager nod from her . Lilianna started jumping up and down on the bed trying to shake Diego awake

"Daddy wake up " said Lilianna shaking her father awake

"Give me 5 minutes more love " grumbled Diego sleepily making lilianna frown at him

"Diego we are meeting your parents today " I said as a reminder

"Was it suppose to be today ?"

I swear he is getting dumber each day

"no it was suppose to be next year " I said my voice lasing with sarcasm making Diego groan in response . He opened his eyes looking at me to Lilianna

"We need to leave in another in an hour  " I said securing my hair in a tight ponytail

"Mummy is aunt Ree going to come as well?"asked Lilianna hopefully . Did I also forgot to mention that my daughter completely adores my best friend ? her aunt ?

"I'm not sure honey but your aunt did promise to come over this summer . Don't worry she will come dragging over uncle Lucien "

"Are you certain that Lucien doesn't have feelings for reina ? I mean those two are always together " questioned Diego clearly needing details if he can threaten Lucien or not .
