MK and Monkey King land on different mountains as they paused for a moment, the teen stares at his mentor with determination sweating furiously as the simian King stares back with a smirk, the copper simian becken the teen to come at him and MK twirls his staff and slams it on the ground making small rock fly in the air he swing the staff back blowing a cloud of dust out of the way and be charges at the king. Monkey King yawns and picked his teeth with his claw as he watches the teen charge towards him twisting and turning, just as MK was close Monkey King disappears right as MK swung the staff at where the king was, MK blinked in surprise and turns around to see his mentor appear in the air and flies down to the teen who blocks the oncoming foot with his staff making a crater under the teen

MK smirks at his mentor who smirks back and hops off the staff making the teen stumble nearly making him fall off the edge, MK quickly got his footing right and charges at Monkey King who dodges the teens attack, he steps back as he blocks the teens kick with his arm and hops over his successor as MK leaps over him trying to hit the copper simian. Just as he floats to the ground a copper tail wraps around the teen ankle lifting the teen up high in the air and flinging the teen back down to the island who lands into the grotto head first with a painful groan. Monkey King lands down into the grotto making the teen fly up in the air a bit "Better, way, way better" Monkey King said disappearing and reappearing catching MK "you're totally getting the hang of this bud" Monkey King said spinning the teen a bit before placing MK on the ground "aw really?" MK asked smiling sheepishly "I mean it does make sense you are getting trained by me" Monkey King said smiling with a wink "now we just gotta work on your focus" Monkey King said smiling

"Yeah I am the best at fo--What do you mean work on my focus?!" MK said getting into Monkey King's face with a look of disbelief "I'm like No. 1 focus guy" MK said. The copper simian pushes the teen off him "ugh, if anyone is the No. 1 focus guy, it's me" Monkey King said pointing to himself "WHAT?!, literally your entire legacy is about you being impulsive and dodging responsibilities!!" MK said pulling out his book flipping through the pages of the drawings of Monkey King being impulsive and dodging responsibilities, he turns to the simian King and pushes off a cardboard cut out of Monkey King who was a little far back eating a bag of peach chips "mm, that's where your wrong" Monkey King said with a mouthful of peach chips "that time you ate all the Immortal Peaches you were meant to guard?" The teen said raising a brow at his mentor "that was a long time ago," Monkey King huffed digging through the chip bag "when you kept annoying everyone in the Celestial Realm?" MK said crossing his arms "That's a matter of opinion" Monkey King said denying everything "The time you picked a fight with Budd-!" The teen was cut off when the copper simian shoved a Peach chip in his mouth sparing the king from anymore embarrassing memories from his younger years

"See that right there is the problem, you stressed too much about the negatives" Monkey King said smiling at the teen who ate the Peache chip angrily "focus, is taking in everything, but honing in only the one thing that matters" Monkey King said throwing another peach chip into his mouth "right now I'm talking to you, while honing in the speed of the wind, the moisture in the air, these 37 emails from my lawyer, the first 18 seasons of Monkey King: the animated series, the residence of my soul that contemplates the fact that I am an immortal being, who will never be able to die, and that bug over there" Monkey King said pointing to the bug on a blade of grass far away, the teen raised an eyebrow in confusion "but..." Monkey King said placing another chip in his mouth and wrapped his arm around the teen "I'm paying attention to you" the simian King said pointing at MK "take in everything, choose what you want to do, and do it, that is focus" Monkey King said smiling. MK looked at his mentor with sparkles in his eyes "that sounds...super confusing,  and like you're just constantly distracted" MK said, Monkey King cocks his eyebrow with the sound of a gun clicking "or maybe, you just can't handle real focus" Monkey King said crossing his arms with a smirk, MK gasped as an invisible bullet hits right through MKs heart making the teen fall backwards with the words 'SHOTS FIRED', feeling offended the teen quickly stood back up and glares at the king
