chapter 1- princess daphne

It was a Monday night and the last thing olive was expecting was to be woken up to the sound of dustin Hendersons voice 

"olive! olive! do you copy?"

she groaned trying to roll onto her stomach but instead rolling off the bed and falling onto the radio system.

olive winced in pain as she pulled out the radio from underneath her. She held the two buttons on the side down saying into it "what dustin! Yes I copy!"

"what's your count?" he said back into the radio

"what count?" Olive quickly asked

"olive! Did you forget the arcade?" shit I had completely forgot and fallen asleep

"just .. hold on!" Olive quickly stood up stumbling towards her desk as she tried to ignore Dustin's whining from across the room

running back over to the radio and picking it up olives other hand full of quarters as she answered his question"I have about five what's yours?"

"me and Lucas have six together what about Mike?" Dustin responded

"no clue I'll go ask him.. have you called will?" olive asked

"not yet I'll call him right now!" the boy responded as olive set down the radio fumbling towards her dresser as she put on whatever clothes she could find before she walked down the stairs, well more like ran down the stairs.

  "slow down!" Karen yelled to her daughter as she sat with holly at the kitchen table

"sorry mom" olive responded giving her mom and little sister a small smile before she continued running.

"Mike! Mike! Where are you" she yelled as she hit the infamous basement of her home.

"what olive" her twin yelled back to her in a annoyed tone that olive instantly caught. As she walked farther into the basement.

finally she saw him holding a radio olive tilted her head to the side looking at him confused as she scanned the radio that was on a completely different channel than any of the party talked on.

"what are you doing on this channel?" Olive asked as she pointed to the frequency

"none of your business olive" he scoffed "what do you want?"

"whats your count frog face?" olive retorted

She watched as the shock hit him "shit! I completely forgot!" Mike yelled as he ran up the stairs making sure to knock into olive on the way.

olive scoffed as she leaned down turning off the radio

he was looking for el like he did everyday.

she ran upstairs hearing her older sisters voice ring through the house

she walked out front ignoring the bickering that rang through the house as she grabbed her bike impatiently waiting for Mike.

Mike running out of the house a angry Nancy following him close behind

"Mike do you ever I don't know try to have you're own money?" olive asked as Mike struggled to get on his bike

"Why would I do that when I can steal from Nancy" he smirked making olive roll her eyes as they started biking to the arcade.

"I'm sorry I tried to convince him, bye nance love you!" she yelled as Nancy just stood out front throwing her arms in the air.
