The Player (Chresanto August Story)

I had now finished get ready for bed when I received a text message from Chresanto

"What was you saying before?"-DoubleR

"Aren't you busy fucking Amaiyah?"-FutureWifey

"Um.. No"-DoubleR

"Ok."-FutureWifey

"Well what was you going to tell me then?"-DoubleR

"That I'm pregnant"-FutureWifey

"You're what?!"-DoubleR

I didn't even get to reply when an incoming call from Chresanto came.

"Yes?"-I asked

"What do you mean you're pregnant?"-Chresanto asked

"I am pregnant as in, there is a baby growing in my womb, 9 months times he or she will be out"-I explained

"Why would you come and tell me? I thought that you hated me"-Chresanto asked

"Damn right, but I'm telling you now that you're soon going to have a child. I more or less don't care if you want to stay it it's life once it's born though"-I said

"Man. I'm not too sure about no baby.. I'm young and I still need my life not for it to be filled with cries and dirty diapers"-Chresanto said

"Wow. How dare you say that shit Chresanto. I don't know who the hell you're trying to show off too but it ain't cool at all. You need your life? Well so do I but I'm going to live my life WITH my child. If you had time to conceive a baby then you damn well can take care of it but do you know what? You can go off and still be a Player Imma be here taking care of our child that you never bothered taking care of"-I said now on the verge of tears

"Are you done?"-Chresanto huffed

I just looked at my phone in disbelief and hung up. I was soo shocked as to what Chresanto was saying. Well this is what you get for sleeping with a nobody. You've gotta learn from your mistakes and that exactly what I have to do by pulling up my pants and taking care of my child.

I soon fell asleep

"Momma?"-CJ (Chresanto Junior) tapped me on my leg

"What's up little man?"-I asked

"I wanted to go and play with my friends"-CJ asked

"Hmm yeah, what are you guys gonna play?"-I asked

"Soccer & Ryan's dad is gonna have a BBQ so he wants us to come"-CJ said

"Really? I mean.. I'm not too sure on going"-I said

"Why not?"-CJ furrowed his eyebrows

"You wouldn't understand at your age right now but I'll see later. Anyways go and have fun & don't get into trouble and don't annoy the girls on the other side of the street"-I warned him

"Yes mom"-He sighed & grabbed his soccer ball

"Mom?"-He turned around

"What is it now sweetheart?"-I asked as calmly as possible

"Wheres daddy?"-CJ asked. I froze

Tears threatened to leave my eyes but I took a deep breath and bent down to CJ's level.

"Why is it that now you want to ask this question?"-I asked

"Well most of the people in my class have dads and they are always talking about how their dads are the best and I sometimes get teased whenever they bring up that subject because I don't have a daddy"-CJ frowned and looked down
