Chapter 41

Domenico's POV

I was on the yacht's balcony waiting for us to arrive. I turned back to look at Rosa who was slumped on the yacht sofa, staring blankly.

"GOD DAMNIT FREDDY! IM GONNA DIE!" Rosa suddenly shouted.

I couldn't help but laugh and be guilty at the same time. The reason why, leads back to the conversation we had in the car.

She said she always gets left behind in all the activities so, I wanted her to be part of it. To experience what fun it actually is.

I saw her walking towards me, fuming.

"You know I can't swim! Why did you agree with Freddy?" She said,

I burst out laughing and she gave me a frown.

"You think it's funny?! I'm gonna get eaten by sharks!" She said tears forming around her eyes.

Oh shit.

"Hey, hey. Okay, you said on our way here you don't wanna feel left out so I had to come up with a plan to force you to join us. If we were gonna do the shark cage normally would you come?"

She looked away and said,

"No.." 

"Exactly, so I wanted you to come. Besides, I'll be with you." I said smiling.

She looked shocked and looked at me blushing.

"Yes, I will be with you. The shark cage can only hold 2 people. So, me and the boys decided to go each with our partners. Gio and Mio, Sofia and Kristoff, Enijo and Freddy and...You and me." I said, feeling butterflies in my stomach when I said the last part. 

She bowed her head, obviously hiding her bright red face. God, she's adorable.

Miognette's POV

We were already at the destination and the handler was giving us an orientation about what to do and what not to do. 

Rosa was scribbling down on her hand vigorously. I chuckled at the sight and I looked at the man sitting beside me.

"Hey, have you tried swimming with sharks?" I asked Gio,

"Yeah, It's actually a hobby of ours." He said and pointed at the boys.

"Really? Is it scary?" I asked

"No, not really. There's like 1 in 13.5 Million chance will attack or eat you." He said,

"Really? I don't feel scared anymore." I said, 

He left out a hearty chuckle.

A few minutes later, We were finally starting. 40 Minutes in it was finally Rosa and Domenico's turn. It wasn't scary at all in fact it was fun. The sharks were really cute.

Rosa was clutching on Domenico's arm like there was no tomorrow. I could tell how hard she was holding it. Domenico's arm turned white. I giggled at the sight.

"I'm gonna die, this is it. I'm dying. I'll haunt you for the rest of your lieeeffeee!!" She screamed as she jumped in the cage with shark infested water. 

A few minutes in and they finished. Rosa went back up with a huge grin on their face.

"Well turns out I can swim. And sharks are adorable." 

I laughed at her comment. After that nerve wrecking punishment we went to the villa. Enzo suggest that we make barbecue. Everyone agreed and everyone was getting ready in their respected rooms. Rosa and Domenico was setting up the in the back yard. 

"You ready?" I asked Gio. He exited the bathroom and he wore a tight white shirt and dark blue shorts.

Jesus, this man will be the death of me.

"Yeah, Let's go." He said and grabbed my hand.

We went to the back yard and saw everyone was already there. Freddy, Enzo and Sofia was placing the plates on the wooden table. Rosa, Dom and Kristoff was cooking on the grill.

"Hey!" Rosa said running to me with a pair of tongs in hand.

"Woah there cow girl, you could squeeze people to death with that thing." I said

"Hahaha I guess. The Food's ready." She said and went back to the station.

Everyone started gathering around the table and we decided to eat.

As I bit into the hotdog, the cheese melted in my mouth. The meaty, spicy flavor of the hotdog compliments the sweet taste of ketchup. I was in heaven.

"Someone's enjoying the food."  Gio said to me

I felt my face heat up. 

"Woww. Yeah just rub it into my face I'm single." Rosa teased.

"You ain't single baby. You have me." Dom said 

Now Rosa's face was the one heating up.

All of us laughed out loud.

Then we chatted the night away. 

Everyone was starting to get sleepy and decided to return to their bedrooms. I was still outside cleaning the backyard when the head butler spoke.

" Oh Dear! Miss please let me." He said and hurriedly grabbed the plates I already had in my hand.

"No. It's alright. You can help me with the remaining." I said and gave him a smile.

He was skeptical at first but was then reassured and decided to help me.

"I've never seen him happy you know." He suddenly said while wiping the table.

I gave him a confused look.

"Master Gio. The only time we've ever seen him smile was when he smiled on that boat." 

"Really?" I said. I dont know but for some reason I felt my cheeks heat up and felt butterflies in my stomach.

"Really. It's good. Call it uh..Character development " He said. and gave me a smile.

I chuckled at his remark.

A few minutes have passed and I was getting tired. I decided to went up stairs.

I opened our bedroom door and saw Gio outside in the balcony with a cigarette in hand. 

"What you thinking about?" I said and sat on the couch beside him.

"How I'm satisfied." He said and smiled at me. He put out his cigarette and sat beside me.

The scent of smoke and his perfume tickled my nose.

"God..Why didn't I met you before?" He said and cupped my face.

Damn. I dont know what to feel...I...

Fuck. Am I inlove?
