After literally almost shitting myself, i sat in silence whilst staring at the bold words on my phone
i suddenly became very aware of everything
the way the sun peaked through the blinds onto the pretty flowers on the rest next to the window
i stared at my hands in confusion, the feeling of dread clawing at me once i realized that this was not some shitty prank

there was no reason for this to have happened to me
i am aware that i was not a believer of any sort of religion nor was i someone who looked at the world through rose tinted glasses
i was not a savior of any sorts

that was going to be my reality
a webtoon i didn't even read
a feeling of rage tore through me as i scratched at my wrist
