I've called my Dad's and my brother. Scott and Chloe are visiting this morning and my Dad's are visiting for lunch. I'm ignoring Jack and haven't left Winnie's side. Amelia keeps checking on us and Lexie and Mark have popped in with Sofia and a 'Get Well Soon' card.
- Winnie : Mom, can you get me some jello?
- y/n : You had breakfast an hour ago
- Winnie : Please?
- y/n : Good thing I love you
And I feel bad. It's literally 9am and I'm feeding my daughter jello but I don't care. She gets what she wants within reason while she's in hospital.
- Arizona : I've just been speaking to a nurse. Winnie's stats look really good
- y/n : Good
- Arizona : Have you stopped beating yourself up yet?
- y/n : I can't. If I'd noticed then we would've caught it before it burst
- Arizona : You need to stop. It'll eat you up. Now take your jello and go sit with that daughter of yours. I'll be round sometime today
I know Jack is coming this morning with Andy. I kind of don't want to see Jack but I do at the same time to make sure he's okay. Winnie being in hospital has had me worried sick. I haven't eaten, I can't. I need to know Jack is taking care of himself.
- Amelia : Hi. Jack and Andy are in there
- y/n : Thank you for everything recently
- Amelia : It's fine. I care about you
- y/n : I owe you. If there's anything you need me to do then just say, I'll do it
She me been great to me. No switches in the way she acts towards me. She's just been comforting and she's been my friend.
- y/n : Got the jello
- Jack : You made your Mom go get you jello at 9am? Winnie
- Winnie : Mom said I can have whatever I want to eat while I'm in the hospital
- Andy : Why don't we let your parents go sign some papers? I'll play a game with you
- Winnie : Alright
That's code for 'your parents need to talk'.
- Jack : I'm so sorry. I'll spend the rest of my life apologising for what I said
- y/n : But it still doesn't take it back. You called me a bad Mom.
- Jack : But I didn't mean it
- y/n : It doesn't matter. You still said it
- Jack : Is the wedding still on?
- y/n : Yeah
I hate him. I hate him but I love him. It's my problem.
- y/n : I'll be back. I need to go do some paper work in my office
- Winnie : Alright Mom
- y/n : I'll be back when Uncle Scott and Chloe get here
- Jack : Your brother is coming?
- y/n : Yeah. He's Winnie's Uncle, why wouldn't he?
Jack doesn't like my brother. I don't know why. I guess he's intimidated by him.
- Amelia : Sorry. They're painting my office so I thought I could use yours today
- y/n : It's fine
- Amelia : Everything okay?
- y/n : The wedding is still going ahead
- Amelia : Oh
- y/n : You sound disappointed.
- Amelia : It's fine
- y/n : You've listened to all my problems. I'll listen to yours with no judgement
- Amelia : Ugh, right. I like someone, romantically. But I work with them and they're in a relationship
- y/n : Oh. Who is it? You don't have to say
- Amelia : Dude you're so oblivious. I like you but you're getting married in like three weeks. It's fine though. It's like being in high school again when I had a crush on my straight best friend
How am I supposed to react to that. She likes me but I'm not gay and I'm getting married. I'm marrying Jack.
- y/n : Oh
- Amelia : Sorry. I shouldn't have told you
- y/n : It's fine. Damn
- Amelia : What?
- y/n : When I first saw you I thought that if I was gay I'd date you. But I'm not gay
- Amelia : And you're getting married
- y/n : Sorry. My brother's just text me that he's gotten here. Want to come meet him?
- Amelia : Sure
She has feelings for me. What am I supposed to do?
- Scott : Hey. How's Winnie?
- y/n : Better today. This is Amelia, one of my friends
- Scott : Nice to meet you. I'm Scott, this is my wife Chloe

- Chloe : Well the rugrat is 18 weeks today
In 22 weeks, give or take, I'll have a niece or nephew.

- Winnie : Uncle Scott. Come look at my cool drawing. Look that's Mom and that's Dad. There's Grandad and Grandpa. There's you and Auntie Chloe and the baby and there is Lewis
- Chloe : She knows about Lewis?
- Amelia : Who's Lewis?
- y/n : My other brother. I'll tell you another day
Amelia told me about her feelings so the least I can do is tell her about my brother. It's a sensitive topic for anyone but we're being open. We're being friends.
- Chloe : Can I talk to you outside?
- y/n : Yeah. What's up?
- Chloe : There's tension between you and Jack. What's wrong?
- y/n : He lashed out and basically called me a bad Mom because I didn't realise Winnie had appendicitis. He said if he didn't love me and care about Winnie's feelings then he'd take her away forever
- Chloe : He said that? It's okay to push the wedding back
- y/n : Everyone keeps saying that
- Chloe : Alright, different subject. Is that the boss?
- y/n : Yeah, Amelia
- Chloe : She doesn't look like she hates you
- y/n : Oh no, she doesn't. She confessed that she actually has feelings for me
- Chloe : Oh wow. I mean if things don't work out with Jack you could always shack up with your boss. That's one way to get benefits. Plus sex in the workplace is great, trying not to get caught, being quiet-
- y/n : Chloe, you're describing sleeping with my brother, at work. I don't need to here that.
- Chloe : Just saying. Sleep with the boss if this relationship goes tits up
- y/n : I'm not even interested in women
- Chloe : Sure you aren't. I saw you checking her out in there
I don't check Amelia out. That would be disrespectful. She does have a nice figure but anyone would realise that about their friends, right?
