A Letter To You - Mason Mount (PART 5)

It had been a year since you and Mason last communicated with eachother; both of your lives had changed drastically. You had travelled around the world to build schools and to build houses for families and children in need. Mason had been nomiated for the Ballon d'Or award which he placed 19th in; it was a successful year for the both of you. Even though you both hadn't spoken you both still were supportive of eachother and proud of eachothers successes. You had been in a relationship for the last year; but you realised that Mason was the only person who wanted. It wasn't fair if you were stringing him along, so you decided it was best to end your relationship with your new boyfriend.

The time had come around again for Declan's Birthday Bash; and there's no one else that Declan wanted there other than his two bestfriends. Obviously, you was going; you didn't want to miss Declan's birthday for the world. And of course Mason was going to be there, him and Declan have been best-friends since the age of 6.

Your appearance had change throughout the years since you had last seen Mason. So when you had arrived to Declan's bash, Mason couldn't believe his eyes. Your once brunette hair had gotten lighter with blonde highlights, your once pale skin had turned olive and golden and your lips; his favourite part of you had gotten more plump. The dress you had chosen was hugging your body perfectly, it showed a little clevage; but Mason thought it looked perfect on you.

Once you had saw Mason, you couldn't help but be mesmerised over him. His once short hair had become fluffier which you absolutely loved, his beard had grown more; all you could imagine was running your hand through his hair and the feeling of his beard on your skin as he kissed your neck softly. You hated that even after all these years, Mason still had an affect on you. It made you mad, but you couldn't help yourself.

"She looks great doesn't she?" Declan said to Mason as he watched you from the other side of the room.

"Why don't you go and talk to her?" Declan asked Mason.

"Why would I go and speak to her? I'm the last person she would want to speak too" Mason said before taking a swig of his beer.

"Well you didn't hear this from me, but she broke up with her boyfriend because apparently a certain number 19 Chelsea star was still on her mind; and she realised it would always be him. So tell me again now, do you really think your the last person she wants to speak too?" Declan asked Mason. Before Mason could reply Declan patted his shoulder encouragingly before walking off.

Mason thought about what Declan had said, and decided to come and speak to you. As he made his way over; he couldn't help but feel nervous. His heart was beating fast, and he had no idea what he was going to say to you. He was beginning to question himself if this was actually a good idea. As he arrived to you; Jesse noticed him and hugged you before leaving the two of you to talk.

"Hi Mase, how are you?" You said with a grin on your face before taking a sip of your drink.

"I'm good thank-you, really good. How are you? You're looking really great" Mason said smiling at you.

"Yeah I'm good, I really am. And thank-you, i feel great. You look good too, the beard suits you" You said to him.

"I've been seeing all the work you've been doing and I'm really proud of you Y/N. You'r really making a difference in the world" Mason said.

"Thank-you Mase, I'm getting there; I'm trying my best. I saw that you got nominated for a Ballon d'Or award and you placed 19th; that's so wonderful Mase. 19 is really your lucky number" You said smiling softly at him.

"So erm Dec told me about your break-up. How are you feeling" Mason said before placing his hand on the small part of your back as he looked at you. The contact of Mason's hand on your back, made you go absolutely crazy; the feeling was everything.

"Yeah; as much as I liked him, it just didn't feel right when my mind and heart was somewhere else" You admitted looking down at the floor.

Mason put his two fingers under your chin so you looked up at him before moving towards you and trapping you against the wall. He moved his head towards you, placed his hands on your waist and he leant down and placed his forehead onto yours.

"Oh yeah? Who was your heart with?" Mason asked softly. He moved his hand up and down your arm as he watched your cheeks turn a shade of pink.

"You already know" You said looking up at him and placing your hand on his cheek while you put your other hand at the back of his neck.

"God I've missed this and you so much. I never knew what I lost until you left. I'm so sorry for hurting you Y/N, I really am. My heart has been with you since the beginning. Mariah meant nothing to me, she really didn't" Mason said looking down at you while placing a kiss on your nose.

"M-mase, i don't know what to say" You whispered as you felt the hotness of his breath on your lips.

"Take me back, I will prove to you how much I love you. I'll never take you for granted again. I never knew how much I needed you or how much I loved you until i lost you. I can't live my life without you" Mason said before giving your waist a little squeeze.

"You love me?" You mumbled to him as he looked down at you lovingly.

"I always have and I never will stop. You're the only one I want" Mason said moving his lips closers to yours slowly.

"I love you too Mase, I really do" You mumbled against his lips before he placed his lips onto yours fully.

As your lips moved together slowly but passionately, you both realised how much you missed eachother and how much how much you wanted eachother still. Mason slid his tongue in your mouth, which made you moan softly into his mouth. As you pulled away, Mason pecked your lips again before bringing you into a hug.

"I've missed you" Mason said in your ear before placing soft kisses on your neck before pulling away.

"I've missed you more" You said before bringing Mason into another passionate kiss.

Declan watched from a distance and was finally glad  that his two best-friends were finally happy again and found their way back together once again.

You both pulled away from the kiss with big bright smiles on your faces.

"It's mad how everything turned out in the end isn't it?" Mason said grabbing your hand softly.

"To think all this happened, all because i wrote a letter to you" You said happily, Mason kissed you softly once again before you both left the party as happy as can be.
