I couldn't fall asleep last night no matter how hard I tried. I was too worried about Bob, he leaves in three days possibly to his death leaving me here alone. I want to be with him, I want to be his but there is a possibility all I have left with his is three days. So I guess I'll have to make these three days the best of my life. Rolling out of bed grabbing my phone I walk to the kitchen to get a glass of water, looking at the time I see its 4:08 am. Debating if I should text Bob or not I chug the water and walk outside to the porch, the ocean breeze hitting my face. Taking deep breaths I decided what's the worst that could happen if I text him.
Y/N: Hey are you awake?
Bob: Yeah what's wrong?
Y/N: Nothing just couldn't sleep I was wondering if I could see you later today
Bob: Want to bring by some lunch? I can show you around if you want?
Y/N: What time should I come by?
Bob: Does 12:30 work?
Y/N: That's perfect I'll see you then
Bob: Im excited to see you again <3
Looking down at my phone biting my lip trying not to smile too hard I decided to go back to my room and get some rest before seeing Bob later today.
Walking on to base was intimidating, I had no idea where to go or where I was even allowed to be. Carrying a basket full of sandwiches, fresh fruit, cookies and other snacks I spot a familiar face. "Hey Phoenix" I call walking over to her, seeing me she smiles and brings me into a hug "Hey Y/N what are you doing here?".
Lifting up the basket for her to see I respond "I brought Bob some lunch" blushing slightly "do you know where I can find him?". A big smile spreads across her face she rolls her eyes "Yeah I'll bring you to him" and puts her arm around me and leads me outside.
"You know ever since the beach Bob has not heard the end of it from the other guys" She laughs looking at me. Worried I have been causing him problems I ask nervously "What do you mean by that?".
"I mean they are bone heads who can't figure out how a respectful guy like Bob got a girlfriend before they did." she admits. Smiling at what she said I couldn't help but think about people saying I was Bob's girlfriend. "Hey there he is" Phoenix points at Bob getting out of jet.

"Hey lover boy! Your girlfriend is here" she yells to him pointing at me. Bob looks over and notices me, smiling he hops down and runs over to me. He wraps his arms around me spinning me in the air, before setting me down and pulling me in for a kiss. "Ew get a room you guys" Phoenix complains fake gagging. Laughing I pull away from him "I brought you lunch" he looks down and takes the basket from me. "Thank you darling, you look beautiful by the way" he replies quickly kissing me again, Bob grabs my hand and begins to walk back inside to a table. "Thanks Phoenix" he calls out to her as she leaves waving goodbye.
