- Chapter Twenty-Five -

Start from the beginning

The winged girl couldn't help but squeal loudly, her wings fluttering quickly as she began to rise from her bed. She held her phone tightly as she started cheering, "He loves me! He loves me! He really loves me!" Of course she already knew that fact, but it still made her very happy to see it be said from him.

But as she continued to celebrate, she was unaware of the fact that she had flown too high from her bed that she had unfortunately, and accidentally, bumped her head on the ceiling. "OW!!!" She whined loudly.

Suddenly, after having heard that bump and her yell, her Uncle Keigo burst into the room. "Kid! Are you okay? I heard you yell and I-" As soon as he saw his niece flying and rubbing the top of her head with a huffy look, he raised an eyebrow, "Ummm, Luna? What's going on?"

"Huh?" Luna questioned as she slowly flew herself back onto the bed, staring at the older man quizzically. He was dressed comfortably in a long sleeved grey shirt, burgundy red sweatpants, and black socks. His bright red wings were resting behind his back, and his hair seemed relaxed. "Oh, yeah, ummm, I'm fine! I just, uhhhh, found out something that made me very happy. And I guess I got too excited."

This left the dirty blonde male confused, but he nodded. "Okay then. But is your head okay, though? That sounded like a nasty bump."

"Yeah, yeah, I promise you I'm fine." She responded quickly, "I might need some ice though. I'll be out in a second, let me just get dressed."

Keigo wanted to argue. But much like his niece, he didn't want to waste the effort. Besides, it was way too early. "Okay then. Breakfast is also ready. I made sure to wake up a bit earlier so we could eat together." He was about to close the door before giving a small smirk, "Maybe when you come to eat, you can tell me all about what made you excited. Until then, ciao." He then softly closed the door, and the mint green haired girl was left alone once again.

Her stomach dropped. How exactly was she going to explain that she now had a boyfriend? And how was she going to explain that she had also already had her first kiss? Which was all yesterday! Her heart pounded out of worry as she dressed herself into her uniform, brushed her hair and put it in a braid, washed her face, brushed her teeth, and finally put on her pastel purple sneakers.

However, as she got ready for the day, her mind continued to race of how she was going to tell her uncle. And how exactly he would react. She didn't believe that he would have a problem with Izuku, since he had already met him and didn't seem to have a problem in the past. But how exactly would that change now that they were dating?

She eventually exited her room as she carried her backpack with her. As she entered the kitchen, she spotted the breakfast that her uncle had made for them. Curiously, she sat down her backpack beside her seat at the table. She couldn't help but laugh. "Fruit salad?"

"What? I said it was breakfast, but I didn't say it was gonna be gourmet." Keigo responded as he poured two tall glasses of orange juice for themselves. "Now, you gonna eat or do I leave you to fend for yourself?"

"Hey, don't give me that attitude. I was just making sure. You know I could never turn down a free meal." She responded before taking the bowl, which already contained a spoon, and the glass of juice before sitting down at their small dinner table.

From what she could tell in the salad, there was lots of fruit. Such as bananas, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, grapes, pineapples, and kiwis. To her, this was considered the proper definition of a fruit salad. "You know, we have all of mom's old cook books if you wanted to shake things up from the usual breakfast."

"Ah, come on, kid. I woke up early to cut up these fruits. And besides, you know that the classics always come in handy." He commented as he sat down across from the young girl with his own breakfast.
