An early rest wouldn't hurt him, would it? He didn't think twice. He simply leaned against the window and waited for sleep to take him. His hands-on the cats that lay on his lap, his head slightly tilted back as he rested there for a few minutes. He could hear Velvet speak to the cat in front of him. As he was using more of a Baby tone. The type of tone adults used when speaking to a child of a fairly young age. He smiled before sleep finally swallowed him hole.

It hadn't taken Velvet long to realize that Laika had fallen asleep, He shrugged it off and slowly got up. Though it was a short time Whiskers had already left him, making it easier for him to get up. Picking up his tea and walked over to his bed before sitting down on it once more. He sat welcomed by the soft embrace of the mattress underneath him. He took a quick sip of his tea finally finishing the cup; He held the cup in his hands a little longer before reaching over to place it back onto its fragile saucer. Velvet shook his head. He slowly got up again and made his way to the foot of the bed. Opened a small chest that was put at the foot of his bed, mainly to hold extra blankets, bedsheets, and items alike.
He searched through the Chest, moving things out of the way in a certain order so he wouldn't have to sit there for an eternity folding everything back up. Once he found a suitable blanket, Not to think and not too thin, Not too heavy either. He placed the folded blanket beside him. Velvet placed all of the items back into their original places. Slowly shutting the chest afterward, Being very careful as to not wake the other boy up.
He picked up the blanket before standing up and made his way over to Laika, Velvet felt back for what he had to do, But he went on with it. He set the blanket down on the window sill, Freeing both hands so he could pick the felines up and move them to a more suitable area until he could allow them to lay back down on their human.
Thomas was the first to get picked up, The tom had flailed around a little bit growling as he was moved from his spot, His tail lashing side to side in a tone of anger towards Velvet. He didn't take any mind to t of course. Moving back so he could pick Theo up and move him as well. Theo was always more mannered than Thomas. He had simply just allowed himself to be picked up like a limp, or dead body. When set down he stood up and stretched before sitting down at the head of Velvet's bed. Waiting. Thomas soon joined the other Tom' Sitting down beside him. Watching closely.
When he turned to look at the window again, He saw the other's head move around. He let out a small groan before opening his eyes. That was a short nap- Velvet thought, Walking over to Laika who seemed to just be caught in a daze. He snapped out of it when Velvet approached him. "Looks like Mr. Sleepy woke up!" Velvet mentioned trying to bring Laika out of his more tired state.
"Mhm.." Laika hummed in response, letting his head fall backward and hit the wall of the large window sill again. Is he always like this when he wakes up? Velvet questioned, He kneeled down next to Laika and sighed. "Well Laika, You should probably go back to sleep, Go to your room or stay on the window sill if you please. You seem too tired to generally care." Velvet stated. Grabbing the blanket from beside Laika and practically tossing it at him.
"If you insist.." Laika yawned, Grabbing the blanket and getting more comfortable on the small ledge.
Velvet backed away from the other, quickly going off to grab the other a pillow so he wouldn't have to lay there with his head against the wooden frame, He was quick to give the other a pillow and retreat to the closet for something to at comfortable in. He didn't think twice, He quickly scurried off to the bathroom and changed his clothes again. All it was, was a Sweater and some pants with a belt loosely around his waist. At least It was more comfortable than the corset that he wore. Velvet had completely forgotten about the outfit Laika was sleeping in, With the internal 'Shit' Coming into his mind as he walked out of the bathroom to try and convince Laika to take the corset off.
At least no corset is better than a corset. Which was correct in his eyes. Laika did not take long to understand the need and sat up, His face clearly displaying that he was still tired. He took the corset off and placed it on the floor next to him, and leans back into the window embrace still wearing his formal attire. He could be so careless about what he slept in that night, He genuinely didn't care for it. If he was in pain in the morning it would be on him, and he was completely fine with it.
"Goodnight, Laika-"Velvet mentioned, Looking back at the other who seems pretty comfortable and content on the window sill, Rain still trickling down on the outside of it. "Goodnight to you too, M'lord." Laika replied, moving his head from the crook on the window sill (The small corner between the wall and the Window itself.) , To face Velvet himself. Velvet smiled warmly, earning one in return from Laika before he turned back to face the corner again.
With that Velvet walked over to the entrance of the room and turned the light off. Walking back through the darkness to his bed. It felt strange having another person in the same room as you when going to bed. Though oddly enough Velvet felt as if it were better to leave him in here than to try and move him to his.
The cats meowed a few times, and Theo blended in perfectly with the darkroom, He padded over to the window and made his way past his owner's lap, Sleeping beside him next to the window so he wouldn't be pushed off the window sill by the sleeping boy. -- And Thomas? He stayed with Velvet, playing down in a loaf-like way, his front paws extended slightly with his head resting neatly upon them. Velvet laid awake for a few more moments, Petting the cat beside him. The purr of both felines could be heard as the room only seemed to grow quieter over time. Finally, He too fell asleep. Comforted by the cats purring along with the sound of rain as it continued to beat down on the house. and the tip-tap it made when the water hit the glass.
