Chapter 27c: Quest for Escaping (Part 3: Ruby's Quest)

Opening Start

A clock can be seen ticking down a countdown
The whole backrooms is under Chaos with someone attacking it

Issei looks upon seeing the situation, he gets ready to fight
Ruby is seen next to him, with her weapon hand, Jerry on her shoulder
Issei gives the command to fight.

An train entity is seen in the dark glaring at the gang
As weapons are seen aimed at someone
Jaune stared down with a different and upgraded Crocera Mors in his hand, ready to attack
Attacks are thrown at the entity to defeat it

Naofumi activated his shield to fight with Rex on top of him
Ingvild and Summer use their attacks to fight
Issei and Ruby are seen fighting side by side against entities in a dark area
A chips packet is seen on a table.

A past is shown of the gang having their food enjoying with laughs
The Redacted watcher glares down at them, and begins his attack
Old enemies along with an Automaton fight against them

The explosions go towards Issei, as he activated his boosted gear ready to fight
Jaune transforming into a Mechanical suit in order to fight, while Ruby keeps her distance and uses her shots to kill the attackers
As the floor glitches, while Naofumi shows his Wrath Shield

Several wanderers are shown to be tortured
While Jax and Johnny are seen back at the M.E.G base
A scientist comes in aid to stop the Watcher
Silhouettes of several agents, along with Sonya, who is seen prepared to attack

As they travel through an unnamed level, filled with different entities
They ready themselves to fight against The Redacted Watcher

Opening End

Ruby: Huh, although not using a Semblance seems to be a bummer, I can still run 10 Kilometers without any problem, and aside from that these gaming quests seem pretty good, hehe, and I get to eat food, I think my quest only has normal food.....

Ruby then looked around to see what quest she should begin with, given that majority of them can be done in this level, she saved them for last and decided to do the Deathmoth slaying quest, which did not seem hard on paper, males can easily be killed, it is the females that pose a problem, given they are fully capable of spitting acid and are much aggressive.

She has come a long way, while there was still the old Ruby in her, the new one knew what it means to be a survivor, no longer she had fantasy dreams about being a Huntsman, she knew what she needed to do in order to survive and survive she will, she is done being sheltered and now it was time to be her own person.

Ruby smiled as the memories with her new friends surfaced, the day she met Jaune, her true and only friend, then meeting Issei and working together for the first time to save Jaune when he was kidnapped, they getting bonded, meeting Naofumi and saving her from the Beast of Level 5, meeting Ingvild, them taking down Raynare and her group, working with the Crimson Wanderer to take out Angela, meeting an old foe and turning him to the side of good. Preventing Naofumi from being sacrificed. Her best memory was knowing that her mother was alive and well, and now she is with her, together as a family, Summer loved her family, but it did not mean that she would not punish if they ever went out of line. She eventually realizing her love for Jaune, unfortunately he is a dork when it comes to love, but she will make him love her, no matter what and will not abandon and betray him like Pyrrha did to him.
