Tetsuo POV

Ever scenes I was little I've always been teased, bullied.. made fun of. So it took me by surprise when my crush, Kaneda, asked me out.
"Tetsuo, I uhh.. I like you, like.." he was bright pink, "Like.. more than a friend," he scratched the back of his head and smiled wide and awkward.
I couldn't deal with it anymore, obviously someone found out I liked him and told him, and they were just going to laugh at me when I accepted him. I could feel anger boil over me as I balled up my fists.
"No you don't." I said back, an angry expression all over my face and voice.
Kaneda looked at me confused and hurt.
"Just stop! It's not funny, ok?" I continued, sticking my hands in my pockets, and looking down to hide the tears that were forming in my eyes.
I've always wanted Kaneda to ask me out, but not like this, in front of everyone.. as a joke.
"What- what are you talking about?" He asked, he sounded confused.
"Don't fucking act stupid" I say back, suddenly feeling even more rage run through my body.
"I-I'm not acting stupid" he says, he sounded confused.
"JUST SHUT UP ALREADY" I shouted, loosing every bit of cool that I had left.
It was silent, I decided to look up, I saw Kaisuke and Yamagata with shocked expressions. My heart dropped as I slowly turned to look at Kaneda, sobbing quietly with an angry expression.
It shocked me, Kaneda then said "What? Is it so surprising to cry after being rejected".
"I-" I start, but I was cut off by a quick but painful sting on my cheek.

"C'mon guys" Kaneda and the gang started to walk away. I could see him wiping his tears, and everyone else comfort him.
I put my hand on my face where Kaneda had slapped me. Tears began falling from my eyes, as I reached out for him to come back, to tell him I was wrong, I loved him. My vision was clouded with insecurities and rage and hurt. But it was too late. He would never talk to me again..
