Answered prayer

A N S W E R E D
P R A Y E R

I gazed at the black
sheet of sky
As I whispered in the
air,
“Lord, before I die
I pray for a person where
true love stare.”

I used to dive into
the depth of unsure,
Bearing a rock
I cannot endure.
Playing with sweet
white lies,
Being fooled in a
blink of an eye

But you came,
like a canopy in the rain
Your heart belongs
to God
Giving Him all your
love

O, how grateful I am!
Being with someone in
this run
I told you “I like you”
And respect is what
I saw

You did not change,
even we're different
in age
Until you told me that
you feel the same way
Giving me a bonus in
my wonderful
day

I gave the pen to God
I let Him write the
story of our love
We met in the heart
of Him
He let me glance at
the love I thought
was hidden

Love do not stumble
I was glad God made
you an example
I pray that you hear
me whisper
You are my answered
prayer.
