Prayer

Lost in my disease
Wandering at
the pain I can't ease
I cried out the pain
in me,
I asked you to heal
me at the top of the
tree.

I walked down,
My disease is still
in my chest,
No matter how
sleepless nights and
dawn
I prayed that you'll
save me and give
me rest

You showed me love
and care
You helped me conquer
my fears
On the things I couldn't stare
I can finally find joy in
tears.

Thank You for
answering my prayers,
My disease remained;
But you saved my
soul,
And once made me whole.

For knowing my worth
And cleansing the dirt
Show that it is truly happening,
That this is His healing.
