Vanaram

Rocky made his ways to the dungeons with some of the R-guards.

Vijay : We have stationed 500 men with guns & all. But none of them even know how to hold a gun let alone shoot. How will they use them?

Rocky : They'll learn. Everything.

He enters one of the cells where a person can be seen tied up. One of the R-Guards there lifted the face of the person for the others to see. Every one took a step back in fright to see Vanaram alive and started asking Rocky questions nervously. Rocky ignored them and sat on a chair in front of Vanaram. R-guards tells him to kill Vanaram.

Rocky to R-guards mockingly : Will you kill your Commander-in-chief?

Vanaram : The moment you free me from these chains, I'll kill you with my bare hands.

Rocky scorns: Are you that much offended because I killed Garuda? No, I think it is something more personal. (Looking into his eyes, he smirks) Regina? (He can see Vanaram's eyes tightened at the mention of Regina).

He continues : In the game of chess, when the soldiers, knights, Bishops, Rooks and finally the queen are eliminated and the King is checkmated, the game is over. Rearrange the pawns, a new game begins! The same rules, the same board, the same Queen, But a new king. People are not permanent here, only the positions are. And look at your luck, for you, the queen remains same. You've been around since the inception of this place guarding and protecting these walls. The right moves are important to me, while you value the boundaries more. I'm sure that you'll not tolerate the destruction of this place. My next move now will create a major havoc. When I went to the maintenance room to check the map, I noticed something. I couldn't understand at first, but now it all makes sense. I know why you refer to this existing mine as sector 3/9.

Rocky asks the R-guards to give Vanaram a rifle and asks the rest of them to observe carefully how he handles it. He stood in front of the targets before Vanaram. At the palace, Regina got to know that Vanaram is alive and comes running only to see Vanaram pointing a gun at Rocky. Vanaram knew that this is the best opportunity and he's not going to get another chance to kill Rocky after this. He does not care about his life, but he cannot let Rocky destroy KGF. He's going to make this count. He aims the gun at Rocky's heart. It's always better to target the chest rather than head, because of more surface area, less chance of an escape for the person. Just as he is about to pull the trigger, he saw some movement at the corner of his eye only to look at Regina looking at the scene in front of her eyes with a bewildered expression. His hand tightened on the gun and is more determined to end Rocky remembering how he dragged her forcefully on the night of Garuda's death. But, he took one look at her neck and forehead and closed his eyes tightly. He gritted his teeth and aimed again and fired two shots.

Regina closed her eyes in terror even to see what happened. The possibility of Rocky getting shot sent a chill down her body. Not able to hear any sound, she slowly opened her eyes to see Rocky standing where he was looking perfectly fine. She released a sigh of relief where as Rocky smirked. He knew Vanaram only agreed for this because of Regina. For him Regina is KGF. He will protect Regina at any cost so by default he'll work for Rocky. He doesn't mind it one bit. He'd have to buy a gift for his lovely wife soon.

Rocky in his mind : What a timing chinna? I love you. Muaah.. Waise next time se yeh movie wala dramatic effect kam karte hain ... okay? like last min mein hi aana hain twist ke saath.. yeh sab nahi okay? Tumhari elevation ki chakkar mein main gaya hota abhi.. (Anyway, from next time, we'll ignore all these dramatic effects we see in movies of only unravelling the plot twist at the very end.. okay? Because Darling, I might have get shot in the leu of your elevation shots..)

Vanaram : I'll guard again but only on my terms. Before guarding the main gateway, there is a significant barrier. There is a check post. 300 guards must be posted there immediately! Trained 300 guards.

Regina's eyes widened hearing Vanaram's words. Outpost1, of f****g course! How did she miss such a critical point. God damn it!! She started running towards the palace frantically. Rocky & Vanaram looked on in confusion at her retreating figure.
