I've been living in Philadelphia since I was 5 years old but I'm originally from New York. I went back every summer to visit my grandma who's a pastor until I finished highschool. Since I've been out I've been traveling doing photography taking pictures of different things while my partner and bestfriend writes about them.

"Why you so excited to get to New York? Must be a jawn there waiting" One of my other friends Slim said and I shook my head. I've crushed on Lilly ever summer since middle school.

"Nah, I'm seeing family. My grandma is sick so I'm going out there for a few months going on an assignments then going back." I said finishing up packing.

"Well, I can't let you go alone... so I got me an Epic tickets" he said and I smiled dapping him up. Epic is my bestfriend since middle school and partner.

"Bro we gone be lit. But you gotta go to church every sunday." I said and he shrugged

"How the New York jawns be honest" he said and i sighed

"Aggressive, but we'll be ok." I said and he shook his head.

I've lived in New York my whole life and I want to see way more then the concrete jungle. I grew up in the church with both my parents but got kicked out when they found out I was gay.

I ended up moving in with my bestfriends family. I thought they wouldn't let me in either since her grandmother is a pastor but they excepted me for me and I go to the same church as my parents but they act like I don't exist.

"My favorite cousin is coming in town so we gotta pick her up. I can't wait" my bestfriend Taj said and I frowned

"Which one" I asked and she sighed

"The one that lives in Philly. She came up here every summer since Elementary school." She said and I started to remeber.

"Ohhh, my gay awakening" I said and she laughed

"Yes, but she travels a lot so she hasn't been here. When she heard Nana was sick she canceled her trip to Dubai and booked a flight here." She said and I shook my head

"I can't believe she has liver failure. The most holy non drinker I know." I said and she sighed

"We gotta go, her flight should be landing in a couple hours" she said qnd I frowned

"What airport is she at" I asked

"Stewart Airport, she couldn't get a flight so late to anyone closer" she said and we got in her car heading on the road.

*2 hours and 45 minutes later*

We pulled up to the airport parking the car going inside so she can see us.

"COUSIN" someone screamed coming full force teords us and they jumped on eachother.

"Oh my god I missed you" Taj said as two more people came behind her.

"I missed you too. This is Slim and you know my bestfriend Epic" Dom said and they waved

" I do, and it's nice to meet you. You remember Lilly" Tajs said and she smiled

"Of course. And I remember the double Dutch song she made" she said and I knew exactly what she was talking about so I covered my face shaking my head

"Please dont" I said and she laughed

"Little Lilly she's so silly I bet you she can do a willy." She said and I ran away coming back

"Dont forget your part though " I said and her friends raised their eyebrows
