It's been a few weeks since Dom and I started talking and in true lesbian fashion I'm basicly living in their Air bnb. I got up going to the bathroom and when I got out her phone start ringing.

"Babe, your phone" I said and she huffed

"Answer it" she said and I picked it up.

Me: Hello I said looking at her.

???: Is Dominique there I heard a woman's voice say

Me: she's sleeping right now can I take a message I said grabbing a pen and paper.

???: Yes please, can you ask her if she's willing to take an assignments in Hawaii covering the military bases there she said and I sighed

Me: ok, I'll tell her to call as soon as possible. I said hanging up.

I got up getting in the shower heading downstairs when I seen Slim I'm the kitchen.

"What you whipping up" I asked sitting on the island

"Some pancakes, eggs, bacon. You know how I do." He said spinning and I shook my head.

"Taj had to work" I asked looking at the time and he nodded.

"Yeah, they called her in to take care of something. Something about her client violating their parol. She'll be back" He said and I nodded

Taj is a juvinal defense attorney. She just graduated law school and already has like 5 cases on her desk.

"Hello my friend, good morning from the dead" Slim said as Dom came downstairs

"You got a message from your boss" I said handing her the paper.

"Fuck, I gotta make a call" she said walking out in the back yard making a call.

"If she called for Hawaii it must be a paid article" he said putting the food out and we started eating.

"What do you mean a paid article" I asked and he sighed

"Theres paid article and interest articles. Paid articles are priority, a company or organization pays the company to do an article on them then they send their best and the article gets sent to who payed they approve and it gets posted. A interest article you pitch you ask for expenses and your on a budget. These paid ones are free since the person picks up the tab after we leave" he explained and I shook my head. I can't believe people do this.

Dom came inside shaking her head sitting down eating.

"We have to go, we're being paid 30K each. Expensive paid for and we get to invite family if we want" she said and I was kinda sad.

"Ion talk to my family. When we leaving" he asked and she shrugged

"She said I can get stuff settled here then go." She said and he nodded as we ate and it was kinda a awkward silence

"Say if I had an extra seat on this private jet I'm taking to Hawaii, would you come" she asked and I shrugged

"I don't know, would I be distracting you" I asked snd she shook her head

"Of course not. Plus I really want you to come" she said and I sighed

"Ok, I'll come." I said and she laughed

"Where's Epic all three of us have to agree when we leave" Dom asked sipping her coffee

"Umm, oh yeah. Her and Ash went out for dinner last night and i dont think they came back in the house" he said and Dom called her.
