EPILOGUE

HEIRA'S POV

Another year passed and Nick is now 7 months pregnant with our biological daughter. 'How?' Since our technologies are advanced now, some doctors found a way for same-sex couples like us to have a biological child.

First, we found a sperm donor. They take a few sperm examples and replace the sperm's DNA with my DNA. In that way, the sperm will carry my genes, etc.

Second, Insemination. We chose IUI or Intrauterine Insemination because it's more safe.

And that's it. It may sound easy but replacing the DNA of the sperm with my DNA took a few months. It cost a lot but it's also worth it.

"Heira?", narinig kong tawag ni Nick at kumaripas naman ako ng takbo papuntang sala.

"Why? What's the matter?", she didn't replied and just stared at me up and down.

"Oh for f*ck's sake, put some clothes on! You're flashing your t*ddies again.. Yummy t*ddies.", sabi nya at napahawak ako sa bewang.

"Want milk?", panunudyo ko at tinaas taas ang kilay.

"Magpalit kana, dami mong alam."

"Okay, pero ano muna sasabihin mo?"

"Sabi ko, magpalit kana muna. Magpapalit ka oh dika magdadamit ng isang taon?", pananakot nya sakin and I just surrendered.

"No need to threat me, shesh..", I walked to our room and get dressed up.
 
 
"I'm back, esposa. What are you gonna say?", umupo ako sa tabi nya at hinawakan ang kamay nya.

"I've been thinking about this lately."

"No you shouldn't, you also need to rest mentally.", I said worriedly.

"Nag isip lang naman ako, bawal ba yon?"

"No, not really.."

"Oh naman pala. Anyways, I've been thinking about what will be our daughter's name soon, do you have something in mind, Heira?", she asked me.

"I actually don't have any.. Nera? Hick?", napatawa ito sa sinabi ko.

"Anong Hick? Parang sinisinok. Oh! I remembered one!", excited na banggit nya.

"What is it??"

"Valerie."

"Hah? Where'd you get that? Oh wait, is that my.."

"..made up name in the plane? Yes it is.", tuloy ni Nick sa sinabi ko. (

"Okayyyy, it's decided then. Hello my little queen, Valerie..", I said then caressed Nick's stomach. I felt it moved like little Valerie just kicked.

"Wait did you see that??", masayang tanong ko kay Nick.

"It kicked, right? Oh she liked the way you hold her.", she said and smiled at me.

"Hi Valerie, it's me, your other mommy.", I kissed her stomach and smiled sweetly.
 
  
A month a half passed again and now I'm holding Nick's hand as she push with all her might. "Come on, you can do it..", I said but Nick only gripped my hand tighter. Ahhh! I never thought she's this strong!
