Avengers-Chapter 3

Tony: An intelligence organization that fears intelligence?  Historically, not awesome.

Steve: I think Loki's trying to wind us up. This is a man who means to starts a war, and if we don't stay focused, he'll succeed. We have orders. We should follow them.

Tony: Following's not really me style.

Steve: And you're all bout style, aren't you?

Tony: Of the people in this room, which one is, A, wearing a spangly outfit, and. B, not of use?

Y/n: Alright Tony that's enough.

Bruce: Steve, tell me none of this smells a little funky to you.

Steve: Just find the Cube.

Steve walks out of the room.

Tony: That's the guy my dad never shut up about?  I'm wondering if they shouldn't have kept him on ice.

Y/n: Come on Tony give him a break.

Tony: Why, because he's your war buddy? I don't see what's so great about him.

Y/n: Just give him time. He's still trying to get used to the new world he woke up to.

Lady Sif: He's not wrong about Loki. He is trying to wind us up.

Bruce: He also has the jump on us.

Tony: What's he's got is an Acme dynamite kit. It's going to blow up in his face. And I'm going to be there when it does.

Bruce: Yeah. I'll read all about it.

Tony: Uh-huh. Or you'll be suiting up with the rest of us.

Bruce:(Chuckles) You see, I don't get a suit of armor. I'm exposed. Like a nerve. It's a nightmare.

Lady Sif:(whispers to Y/n) Is he this Hulk you were telling me about?

Y/n:(Whispers) Yup.

Tony: I've got a cluster of shrapnel trying every second to crawl its way into my heart. This stops it. (Taps his arc reactor) This little circle of light, it's part of me now.( Walks over to Bruce) Not just armor. It's a terrible privilege.

Bruce: But you can control it.

Tony: Because I learned how.

Bruce: It's different.

Tony: Hey. I read all about your accident. That much gamma exposure should have killed you.

Bruce: So you're saying that the Hulk...The other guy saved my life?  That's nice. It's a nice sentiment. Saved it for what?

Tony: I guess we'll find out.

Bruce: You may not enjoy that.

Tony: And you just might.

Tony walks away to work on some other stuff. Y/n then walks up to Bruce.

Y/n: So you and Hulk are still not getting along?

Bruce: Nope, not really.

Y/n: Well, hopefully one day you two can get along. I mean Hulk isn't that bad. Like Tony said that gamma exposure should have killed you, but Hulk saved you.

Bruce: And I'll say again. He saved my life for what? He's made my life hell. I have to be on the run because of him and what he does.

Y/n: I'll leave you with this. If I remember right, every time the Hulk came out, it was to keep you safe. So yeah you two may not really get along but in some kind of way he does care about you.
