Ok, so I've been reading Song of Achilles (very good novel), and I had to take a break and read something else, because it was seriously making my heart hurt, which is a reasonable thing, but the funny part is that my dumbass brains idea of a good feel-better book to read is a gorey American gothic Vampire novel. (It's called The Beautiful, would recommend, it's very good) Like it's only got a less sad tone because the main character is a freaking murder so she's way to chill about the murderess vampires guy with a body in his basement who talks like a serial killer.
Like I see why people worry about my book choices now lol
