she opened her arms
welcomed the rays of sun
the gloom gone now
past is not
present and
future in bloom
her broken self
won't hurt anymore
tears won't spill
smile will grace
her ruby lips
glimpse of her
former lover
won't make her stumble
memories stays
so does healing
slowly
quietly
she becomes whole again
healing meant to be
self acceptance
of whom
now, she knows
healing meant
not shedding
but embracing
not stumbling
walking steadily
towards her own
beautiful self.
