My eyes never leave her face as a medical team rushes in.

Jason almost fights with someone that pushes him out of the way, but Hazel calms him down with a touch to his shoulder.

He looks at me, and walks closer, "Thank you..." He says before pausing, "Thank you for getting here as fast as you could. What-What happened?"

I stare up at him in surprise that he was thanking me before I look back to Brooke. "I don't know," I admit, "Lily showed up... she told me where to find her. I... I don't know."

Pain flashes in Jason's eyes before he looks back at her. When he decides he has seen enough, he looks back at me and says the one thing I have been asking myself.

"What do we tell Dick?"

NIGHTWING'S POV

Tonight has been strangely calm. Just a few run-ins with some local thugs. Nothing too crazy.

I wonder if Bludhaven is getting boring. Maybe I should give Gotham a try again.

I lean my head against a brick wall, hanging my feet over the ledge of a roof.

A frown makes its way to my face, but I can't figure out why. I have had this bad feeling all night... but I don't understand where it is coming from. Everything is looking up. Conner is alive, Raquel is alive, Conner and M'gann got married... so why do I feel so uneasy?

Maybe that Thai food was bad in my fridge.

I close my eyes for a few moments, hoping the feeling would leave.

"Are you trying to sneak up on me, Jaybird?" I quip without opening my eyes. "Your loud ass boots give you away."

Jason doesn't snap back with any nasty comments, making me frown before I open my eyes.

My stomach drops. Jason is looking at me with concern that I know all too well.

"Jason..." I say, pushing myself up. "What's going on?" I ask, before I realize there is someone else on the roof. "Wally?" I question, looking at my best friend. He won't meet my eyes, his hands in his pockets. "What..." I look between the two before realization dawns on me. "Is it Bruce? Did... did something happen to Bruce-"

"It's..." Wally looks up, his voice cracking. Hw looks away from me before he finally mets me eyes, "It's not Bruce."

I look between the two of them in confusion before I realize the only other person that it could be. The only reason both of them specifically would come and no one else.

"No." I say forcefully, denying my thought.

"Dick," Jason moves closer and without thinking I grab him by his collar and pin him to the wall beside me.

"No," I repeat, anger in my voice, "No. You-No."

"Dick, she is alive, but it doesn't look good," He gets out, not even trying to get out of my grip.

"No," I hiss out, "How? How?" I question, my mind racing.

"Dick let him go," Wally says, taking his hands out of his pockets as he tries to deescalate the situation.
